Trying to feel more at ease within myself and this place. The only person that is going to truly show up for yourself, is yourself!!!

I've had a lot going on, on top of trying to get settled in the new place. Today I decided to get my 2 biggest trouble makers lately out while the morning was still a little cool and take a short walk to explore the trails that leave right from the driveway! Last night was a long night for us and some of the dogs, 3 not feeling so well with upset stomachs/digestive stuff up and out for most of the night. Today will be a rest day for them and me deep cleaning. Woke up to a mess in Sages crate, Summit made a few messes around the house and Sunny was the loudest and got me up every time she had to go out. Hoping to keep a head of it especially with the heat coming? How are you guys preparing for the heat with your dogs?

Hello all followers, the page has been a little silent for a while with the exception of a few birthday posts, but for all very good reasons!!

Sharing some exciting news the kennel, dogs and the humans have relocated to a much larger space house wise and acreage wise, will share a lot more updates along the way as things settle but for now enjoy some pictures of some of the dogs enjoying the new and larger dog yard area. If anyone lives in a rural/wooded area and could share their go to for controlling the ticks in the yard I would love to hear it. Dogs are in monthly prevention and every time they go out are checked for ticks in the daily routine and finding that I am constantly picking the ticks off the dogs. Would be nice to have a safe for the dogs barrier in the yard to keep them at bay..

And while I have everyone's attention if you could do me a huge favor and share the kennel page so our audience builds, I am trying to get the page to a point where we can participate in the Facebook performance bonus as any little help towards the cost of the dogs help.

Ok time to let the cat out of the bag! I think it kind of feels a little surreal, but I have signed up for the 2024 Can-Am Crown International sled dog race!!! With the help of Tara Crossman at Can Ya Catch Me Kennel I will be running one of her teams of Alaskan Huskies on the 30 miler race!!

Unofficial results from today race, we had fun! And I am so proud of Hector and the ability to come out his shell, ran him in the 2 bikejor and he loved every minute of it! They didn't break out registed breed like the last race they hosted, and it's hard to beat the hounds at these races, but nonetheless was a fun day! Also saw the sledding picture online and definitely brought me back to my purpose with the dogs and running them❤️ thank you to all our supporters out there!

Getting ready for tomorrows race! And time sheets just came out! Looking forward to getting out and racing with the dogs! If anyone is interested in coming to watch please remember to leave pet dogs home!!! I will be running Sunny in 1 dog bikejor and Starr and Hector in 2 dog bikejor!!

Next event is confirmed and on the books! We will be at the Cherry Hill Dash Dryland race the first weekend in Dec! I will be racing registered breed class with 1 dog and 2 dog bikejor!! Hopefully there will be some northern breed competion this race!!!
