Coming Soon!
We are so excited to inform our clients that we have a new doctor starting August 21st! We know he will be a perfect fit for our team. And we know that all of you will absolutely love him!

Dr. Dunleavy was born and raised in a small rural town, just outside of Scranton, Pennsylvania. He has always surrounded himself with animals starting from a young age, more specifically horses, dogs, and cats. He has always maintained a certain connection with said animals and their fantastic pet parents. Dr. Dunleavy attended Ross University to pursue his doctorate in veterinary medicine, completing his clinical studies at Lincoln Memorial College of Veterinary Medicine.

After graduation, Dr. Dunleavy worked at a small practice in Northeast Pennsylvania. He then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to pursue a mentorship with Dr. Bruce Lewis in a high-volume general small animal practice with a strong focus on diagnostics and surgery where he met his now fiancรฉe, Dr. Danielle McCloskey. After taking a trip to Maine, they decided this was the place they wanted to call home with their mini zoo of five dogs and a cat.

Dr. Dunleavy not only loves helping and spending time with all of your pets but loves spending his off days taking part in outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, spending time on the water, or even riding his Harley. He loves to go on as many new adventures as possible and surround himself with the people that matter most to him.

Dr. Dunleavy is excited to reconnect with the state of Maine as well as the people and animals that make it such a special place.

A microchip is lifesaving if your furry friend ever goes missing.
When a lost pet is found, it is basic practice to scan them to see if they are microchipped. If they are, the microchip number would lead us back to your personal information to be reunited! ๐Ÿ’–

Hello to our Scarborough Animal Hospital Family,

We are hoping all of our clients and patients are staying warm in this unexpected challenging time. If the power has not returned to Scarborough Animal Hospital by tomorrow we are expecting to be closed tomorrow. Our goal and priority is to be open. So if power returns we will send out another email and Facebook message. We strongly recommend that if you are without power and heat, cuddle with your furry kids under a blanket.
