We would like to inform our clients that if anyone needs to pick up medications or food today, Saturday, June 21st, we will be closing at noon. Our doctor had a family emergency, so we have contacted everyone who had an appointment this afternoon and moved them up to the morning. We appreciate everyone's cooperation and compassion.

Thank you all for being so wonderful to our team. We are fortunate to have such an amazing group, with awesome clients and patients.

🇺🇸 Today, we pause to remember and pay our respects to the heroic men and women, and the loyal dogs who were by their side, who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our freedom. Let us remember that freedom is not free - it's paid with their bravery & ultimate sacrifice. ♥️🤍💙

Due to construction within our facility, we will be temporarily transitioning to curbside service starting tomorrow, April 28th.

When you arrive to our parking lot, you'll notice signs instructing you to park in a different parking lot. (Where the staff use to park.)

Please park in front of the curbside signs with numbers on them. Call us and we will be happy to assist you. We will still be bringing clients with their pets into exam rooms. (Unless you would rather wait in your car.) For the check-out process, we will have to go back out to your car and someone will be out to assist you. To make the next few months easier on you we can save your credit/debit card number in our system, just notify the CSR staff! Also to save time you can pre-pay for products like medications or dog food if that is all you need.

Thank you for joining us on this exciting adventure! Also thank you for your patience with all of us. We absolutely love being a part of the Scarborough Animal Hospital family with you! If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

On behalf of our team, we want to wish our wonderful clients a joyous Easter! 🐰

As you celebrate, please be aware of the dangers Easter celebrations pose to your pets.
Here are some things to watch out for:

🍫 Chocolate & Candy: Chocolate and sugar-free candies (especially those containing xylitol) are toxic to pets. Keep all candy well out of reach.

🌷 Lilies (and Tulips, Daffodils & more): These springtime flowers are beautiful, but the they are HIGHLY TOXIC to cats-even just a few bites of leaves or pollen can cause fatal kidney failure. If you have kitties, do not even allow these plants in the house!
Plastic

🌱 Easter Grass: This decorative filler can be
very tempting for cats but can cause serious digestive blockages if eaten.

🍽️ Table Scraps: Fatty foods & meat bones
can upset your pet's stomach vomiting, diarrhea & even pancreatitis.

She belongs to Veterinary Technician, Lauren!

Sprout may be the smallest member of the clinic, but doesn’t stop her from being mighty. She enjoys spending time with her mother while she reads and loves tormenting her German Shepherd brother. Her favorite treats are pastries, especially the cupcake she received on her birthday. ♥️
