I know it can be hard to leave your older more "fragile" pets. I thought I would show you a couple of the things I have seen as groomers do their best to make older dogs feel comfortable. Dani has an old dog on her lap for a nail trim. It made the pet feel secure while not having to bend arthritic joints. Nic has two tiny dogs that felt better knowing the other was close. So comfortable that while being groomed they laid down.

I am not sure what Debbie does but the black and white cat fell asleep while being groomed. The Calico cat was pretty relaxed also. AND no they are not medicated.

You can help stop a disaster become a tragedy before it even happens!

𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
If your beloved pet happens to get separated from you during an emergency, it’s important to always have their identification up to date. This is the quickest way to be reunited with them. Make sure your pet’s microchipped, wearing ID tags on their collar or harness, and that all information is up to date and correct.

𝗔 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗱𝘆 & 𝗔 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸
During an emergency, having a close neighbor, friend, or relative ready to help care for your pet should you be unavailable to do so is invaluable. Make sure this caretaker for your pet is familiar and comfortable with the animal (and vice-versa), and that they are aware of your pet’s specific needs. You should also have a pre-made emergency kit (a backpack works great!) for your pet to leave with this caretaker.
