This fun-filled family event has something for everyone. You’ll enjoy a trail walk with your four-legged best friend, shopping in our Wooftown Vendor Village, music with Kacey of 100.7 WHUD, yummy food trucks, a new Kids Zone, cool demos, dog contests and meet some of our furry adoptables!
While it’s not required to pre-register to attend it’s greatly appreciated and one of the best ways to support this special event for the SPCA is to register as a walker in advance and create an online fundraising page to raise funds in honor of your walk for the animals! On Thursday evening, Dr. Ally Minoli hosted the Bear Den from Hawthorne Pack 1 Cub Scouts to help them earn their "Critter Care" Requirement. The Scouts learned what Veterinarians do, what tools they use, did an exam on a cat and puppy and then took them for a tour of the hospital. Thank you, Dr. Minoli for giving these Scouts a wonderful experience and sharing your knowledge! 👩⚕️🐶🦊

Happy to welcome these two doggies to Central Animal Hospital! Calvin is an American Hairless Terrier and Mia is a Xoloitzcuintli also known as a Mexican Hairless. These dogs require special care and attention. In the summer, they need to wear sunscreen to protect their skin and in the winter, they need to wear coats to keep them warm.
