Due to their peaceful nature and beautiful color scheme, German Blue Rams are known as one of the BEST Cichlids to keep. This fish is great in a community tank!
For the best care, German Blue Rams should be kept in aquariums with an aquascape showcasing several dense plant groups scattered around plenty of open swimming spaces. These Rams also appreciate a few caves to hide in.

These hungry little invertebrates are known to be competitive eaters when it comes to others of their own kind. So when kept in a group, these guys are well known for eating pesky Aiptasia Anemones. 😁

Not to mention, they do a great job cleaning up any uneaten food😋, debris and organics that are left lying around - making them the perfect crew member for any reef aquarium!🦐👩🌾

Xenia Coral💙, also known as Pulse Coral or Waving Hand Coral, are colonial animals with multiple polyps attached to a piece of substrate.

When they grow, they form stalks and reproduce by branching off new polyps that have the ability to pump or pulse. It is not well understood why these corals are able to pulse; there are many water and nutrient factors involved.😲

They can spread quickly and take over a tank, however, there is something pretty relaxing about an aquarium full of pulsing Xenia.😍

The beautiful Long Skirt White Tetra!! Did you know though that there really is no such thing as a wild White Skirt Tetra? It is actually an albino variation of the Black Skirt Tetra & it is only bred in captivity!! The White Skirt is a schooling fish so it does best when it is kept in groups of three or more. It is a very peaceful and undemanding fish & can adapt to a wide range of conditions. It’s not a picky eater either but for its optimum health, it should be fed a variety of foods, including high-quality flakes, brine shrimp & any type of worms. Any freshwater enthusiast will get hours of delight watching these beauties swim around in their environment!

Scolymia, commonly known as Scoly, is an LPS coral. They are very easy to maintain in a reef aquarium and are perfect for both beginner and expert reef keepers. They are available in many beautiful varieties, adding a bright pop of color to your reef environment!!

Sea Slugs are a beautiful and intriguing group of invertebrates that bear some resemblance to land slugs. Fun Fact that all Sea Slugs have both male & female organs. So when they mate with another one, they both can produce eggs!! Here we have an eye-catching Purple Sea Slug.

Look at this striking beauty!! It’s a Marine Betta a.k.a. Comet and it will definitely make you look twice when you see it in a reef environment! It has a very iconic camouflage pattern of tiny white dots on a black background, with a unique prominent posterior eyespot. All of its beauty is used to help protect it from any predators. Its first defense is its pattern, making it difficult for enemies to figure out where its head is located! And then the strategically placed eyespot will fool anyone into thinking it’s a real eye! An attack in this area will be an attack on its tail-end, giving the Marine Betta a less likely injury and allowing it to quickly swim away!! Nature is amazing!!

The graceful dancing of a sea anemone in the drifting water current is a mesmerizing spectacle to behold! These elegant invertebrates may look like they are practicing their dance moves but they are really just hungry! Using their long tentacles, anemones snatch food ( or the unsuspecting fish) out of the water column to make a meal. 🌊 How do they grip anything with those slippery tentacles? The tangled tentacles of the anemone are lined with specialized cells called nematocysts. When triggered, these cells project a harpoon-like strand that can grab or inflict a painful sting! 😮 Most creatures of the sea know to give these colorful flower-like animals a wide berth, so as to not get eaten or stung!
