With Thanksgiving quickly approaching Dr. Ragozzino, Dr. Sam, Dr. Schiller and the staff at CAMC would like to send a very big thank you to all of our amazing clients and our fantastic patients. We are more than lucky to have some pretty great clients who continue every day making what we do worthwhile.💜🐾💜

⏰ Please remember, we will be closed on Thursday, 11/28/24 in observance of Thanksgiving. We will reopen on Friday, 11/29/24 for MODIFIED hours of 8am-4pm⏰.

Please keep in mind there may be significant delays in shipping schedules and special orders. Please don’t wait until you are out of something to place your order for foods and medications. It is very important to us your furry friends have what they need as well!!

We're searching for responsible and motivated, dog/cat-savvy individuals to join our kennel attendant team! 🤩 Job requirements include walking dogs, cleaning kennels, feeding, laundry, bathing dogs, maintaining cleanliness of hospital and assisting in office visits.

‼️ This is a great position for a high school/college students looking for after school and weekend work! ‼️
Applicants must be confident of their ability to handle dogs/cats of varying temperaments and levels of sociability. 🐾 There are currently part time positions available. This position requires working weekday afternoons, weekend mornings/evenings and some holidays. Ages 16+ can apply.

Wishing all our purr-fect clients and patients a very calm and easygoing Labor Day weekend. 😎 Our office will be closed for the Holiday on Monday, September 2nd. We will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, September 3rd at 8am. We hope you all get some much needed relaxation as another wonderful summer closes out. 💙☀️🐾

❗️ ASKING FOR THE COMMUNITY'S HELP ❗️

This morning around 8:00am a good Samaritan brought a dog to us that was sadly hit by a car. We believe it happened around 7:30am off of Ft Hunter Rd in Rotterdam. The dog was a black and tan, well groomed, female, Yorkie who was microchipped but unfortunately was not registered to anyone. We have exhausted all options this morning to attempt to find the owner. We are now asking for your help. If anyone knows who this dog could have belonged to we would appreciate any and all leads. Thank you in advance for your help.

Just a friendly reminder, the Fourth of July is quickly approaching. Which means.... FIREWORKS! 💥 This holiday can be a scary one for many pets. If your pet is going to need a sedative for the upcoming firework season, PLEASE start contacting the office now. ☎️ Do not wait!!

Some pets may have never had a sedative and would require a trial run prior to the holiday. Your pet also must be up to date on their annual physical in order for us to dispense medication. Please remember, this is NYS Law. Many sedatives require a written prescription being brought by the pet parent to a human pharmacy. Preparation in ADVANCE is key!!

Additionally, we will be closed on Thursday July 4th for the Holiday. As always, we recommend the local emergency clinic for any and all emergencies. 🐾 🇺🇸

⏰❗️ With the upcoming holiday weekend, we want to remind you to order any medications or prescription food in advance! We will be open Friday 8am-6pm and Saturday 8am-12pm but we will be closed on Monday, May 27th. ⏰❗️

Dogs are not only man's best friend but they have also served in the military​ along side our human soldiers in every major conflict dating back to WWI. 🐾🇺🇸 ​ Let us not forget our canine heroes this Memorial Day such as Sentry Dogs, Scout /Patrol Dogs, and Explosive Detection Dogs.​ Join us as we remember and honor all of our heroes.

At CAMC we like to make sure all of our departments understand how truly important they are to the success of our practice. 🤩 Because we had a lot of staff out of the office during Veterinary Receptionist Week, we chose this past week to celebrate our front desk team in a way they truly deserved! 👏

Whether it’s scheduling appointments, comforting worried clients, or being multitasking magicians, their compassion and dedication does not go unnoticed. They keep the flow of the practice and are always willing to jump in where needed. Please join us in thanking our front desk superstars! We couldn't do what we do without them. Today is a very special day here at CAMC. It is our one and only Dr. Ragozzino’s 40th birthday!! We couldn’t ask for anyone better to lead us. She is our mentor, our shoulder to cry on, our teacher, but most importantly she is our hero. Have the best birthday ever Dr. Rachael!! You deserve it💜🎂

Dr. Sam made the absolute BEST Easter Bunny this week!! She put together a very EGG-citing Easter Egg Hunt for the staff. We cannot thank her enough for the time and effort she put in to getting us ready for Easter this weekend.🐣🐰

Although we have tried our best over the last 8 years to keep the expenses low, our operating costs have increased significantly due to global factors in recent times. Because of this our prices will be increasing beginning March 1, 2024. This decision was not made lightly, and we want to assure you that we are dedicated to delivering the same level of quality and excellence that you have come to expect.

This increase is necessary in order to cover the increased cost of products and other business expenses, and continue to invest in our employees and equipment. This will ensure that we can continue to focus on the quality of our services by working with the best suppliers and materials to get the job done right every time.
