Asphalt can get extremely hot during summer days! 🔥 These temperatures can easily burn your dog's paw pads. To prevent this, always check how warm it is before taking your dog for a walk. To test if it's safe, place the back of your hand on the surface for 7 seconds—if it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for your dog! Walking your dog earlier in the morning or later in the evening, when temperatures are cooler, can also help keep their paws safe!
