Posting another video from the archive, showing the strong tradition of our Champ des Legendes Bloodline. At this time our pedigree was already 8 plus generations strong of our dogs.

Here is a quick snippet of me introducing my 11 week old pups.
This is very standard work for my puppies. My puppies are produced here, whose parents have also been hand selected from my kennel for working ability. Each dog has been rigorously worked, trained, before being selected for breeding. Our kennel has been breeding dogs since 1998, beginning with offspring from French RIng Finalists. My foundation was not built on randomness.
Video Notes:
1. Pronounce Prey Drives that over ride environmental stressors.
2. Natural Full Grip with Quick Counters when allowed.
3. At 11 weeks, you see stability and soundness in nerves demonstrated under loud distraction. My pups are known for their sociability and stability.
4. Combativeness, these are pups are not being pacified on the bite, they are working on a moving object being challenged by both frontal postures and I am releasing stress through prey posturing.
5. Conformation correct, short backed, proportioned ear size, rich pigment, dark eyes,, sturdy build, medium bone, and tight ear set. Make for a aesthetically pleasing dog when performing. Yes, structure is important for jumping technique, endurance, and over all longevity.
Please consider the above when searching for puppies.

Raising puppies for combat dog sports takes some expertise that is developed over years of experience. I will be taking on new student decoys this summer to teach the art of developing dogs in combat.

Sharing more puppy basics from the archives. Here I am doing a lot of layering in regards of cues. There is a hand signal, a tactile touch/contact, and verbal cue. All being calmly delivered and conditioned with lots of no stress reps. I raise my dogs inducively for months, as they begin to connect the dots, they will begin to initiate behaviors independently, and from there I begin shaping and extinguishes my signals and any excessive body language. Dogs mature in stages like people, and it's patience and repetitive work to see them through it. I never rush them, it's really just having fun with them and enjoying the process.
This was done years ago, when people ask about my dogs, it's hard to explain the influence of epigenetics (Epigenetics is the study of how your behaviors and environment can cause changes that affect the way your genes work).
Belgian Malinois breeders just like the dogs themselves are not born equal. I have been diligently, and purposefully breeding and raising Malinois and Boxers for over 25 years now. I train my pups rigorously in the aspects of high level jumping, protection, obedience and scent work. This work is my commitment to the breed in order to maintain its integrity as a working breed.
It's not only a labor of love but a responsibility. I stand behind every dog I produce and do not randomly sell pups to the masses. This breed deserves homes that are committed to training and development in order to raise a well adjusted Belgian Malinois.
I stand behind every pup I sell with a 4 year unconditional nose to tail health guarantee, and offer a full service puppy support program; nutrition, behavior, house-breaking, training, etc. Call me for any issues or questions for the life-time of your dog.
This may sound new to you, but this has been my policy for over 25 years. This is why Chicagoland trusts my kennel for Belgian Malinois and for Working Boxers. PM for your next puppy.

Here is a little peak at some decoy training, working correct targeting on left rear leg. Slow and steady, wins the race. It's all about safety, and correctness when learning.
