Hello and good morning,
The cold freezing weather is coming upon us later this evening. To ensure the safety of our staff, clients and patients we are closing early today at 4pm. If there are any medications that are needed please call in so that we can try to get it together prior to closing. Tomorrow 1/21, we will be having a late start due to the weather. Unsure of the time but we will keep everyone up to date on times. We do ask that anyone that has an appointment to call prior if we have not updated with a time. If you have an emergency the closet would be Allure Veterinary Hospital.

We at Friendship take the safety of our team and pet owners seriously. Due to the pending freezing/ icy weather conditions projected for this upcoming week, we are taking every precaution possible. Please note that our hours might change and we will do our best to keep you all updated. For now we will be open with normal hours on Monday (1/20).

A message from Dr. Ocana:

Dear Friendship family,

I have some bittersweet news to share with you. I have accepted an opportunity that will require my family and I to relocate out of state. While I am looking forward and excited to further my career in veterinary medicine, I am thinking of the many paths I crossed which led me here.

I will forever cherish the past 6 years that I spent with the team at Friendship, the many memories we made together, and the amazing experience that I could not have obtained without their support.

To those of you who have trusted me to care for your loved ones, I am truly honored and will be forever grateful. I would like for you to know that I do not take this for granted. From happy puppy visits, to helping during sickness, and even being by your side as they crossed the rainbow bridge…Thank you so much for giving me the chance to make a difference.


My last day at Friendship will be January 15, 2025. There is no doubt in my mind that the team I leave behind will continue to provide an excellent level of care. They are some of the most loving, loyal, intelligent, and caring individuals that I have ever worked with.


As my greatest colleagues always say…it is not goodbye, just see you later!
