A horse I shod this morning. Have a great day and God bless! ππ¨
I've had a few requests to post some different views and angles of my work in order to show how much room I like to leave for expansion with my shoe fit. I'd say this horse is a good representation of what I aim for on most horses. Just be sure to take the time to box the shoe very well to avoid lost shoes. It goes a long way!

I had the pleasure of working with and learning from Ian McKinlay again this morning. Ian is a hoof specialist who has had a ton of success with some of the most difficult cases at a multitude of racetracks. Here is a great video of him lacing / patching a quarter crack as well as direct gluing on a pair of yasha race plates. Enjoy!
