2023 is the year I officially retired from 20 years as a professional drill horse 🎊

Having spent the 2022-2023 OHSET season with the amazing Madison Bailey as my last youth rider to run a performance on me at Regionals PINWIC in June of 2023 in Redmond!

Spending my professional years with mom on the Rodeo Fly Girls to helping teach youth about the sport I was always a solid and steady that could jump into any drill!

The ending of an era that has spanned over 20 years took place this weekend! June 18th 2023 signifies the end of Perky Skippin’ Cinco professional and ameauter drill team horse career, as a Amber Townsend Riesterer loaned him for one final season to a very special kid, on a very special team, competing at the highest level in high school equestrian sports Pacific Northwest Invitational Championship PNWIC !

Silverton High School finshed 5th place and above all other Oregon teams against a fierce field of Washington teams with nearly double the number of riders!

He’s going out a winner having taught many lessons and with a true heart of gold!

Blessed are those who get to truly experience the King of Drill 💕❤️
