A couple of years ago I read a story in the Oregonian about Yellow Nose, an oryx on the loose in a Portland Park. When I started work here, I was delighted to find out that one of the veterinarians featured in the article was our own Dr. Dietrich! Reed Gleason, the animal's owner, and two veterinarians he hired tranquilized the scimitar-horned antelope near Germantown Road and the Northwest Portland park's Leif Erickson Drive.

This week has been pretty dog heavy, but I'm not complaining! Here is a gorgeous lab mix, Scout, and holy moly was this vizla pup cute! But she was a wee bit wiggly, and the picture is sadly out of focus, except for her nose.

Apparently yesterday was Olde English Bulldog Monday! A wrinkly little 2 week old litter came in to the office for their puppy check, and sweet Dottie came in later in the afternoon.
