Daphne is taking a break between her bath and trim. Sheās a good girl!
Belle was just sitting like this *patiently*waiting for her mom!!! What a goof ball šš
Not my video but everyoneās so worried at drop off, I thought Iād share this! 99% of dogs walk in 5 seconds after you leave, ready for grooming! Itās like dropping your kiddo at daycare, the less fuss thatās made, the better! Then at pick up, theyāll go crazzzzyyyy to see you again! š©·š©·
Good afternoon! Just an FYI-our phone completely died this morning, which resulted in a Verizon trip. Weāve retrieved most of our texts to the new phone but lost all correspondence within the last 24 hours or so. If you w messaged us and we havenāt responded, please text us again. None of our messages within the last day or so were saved to iCloud. Thanks!
Happy Spring!!!! Franks sure been enjoying it! We have some exciting news to share with you!!! š¾
Seaside has added a very talented groomer to our already awesome team, so we are able to take on some new clients for rotating appointments!! Rachel brings 12 years of grooming experience to the table. Sheās talented, patient, and excited to be part of our team, and weāre grateful to have her.
We are accepting approximately 25-30 new clients who can be on a regular rotation of every 4/6 or 8 weeks. If youāre interested in joining us, please text at 781-733-7461.
Welcome, Rachel!
If anyoneās interested, Brittās mom makes these! How adorable!!!!!
Isnāt Harper such a pretty lady?! š ā¤ļø
š¾Happy Monday! š¾ *NEW CLIENT POST*. UPDATE: all openings have been filled!!
We have a few gaps on our schedule for February, so there is availability to accept 5-8 new clients on our rotation (depending on size). (Weāve reached out to folks on the waitlist, but timing is not working out, so Iāve decided to post here rather than keep texting). Spots are for February to start a 6 or 8 week rotation, **we are unable to take anyone who would not be able to book this month.**
We would love to take referral clients from folks who already use our services. Clients with pups who will remain on a maintenance schedule of every 6-8 weeks, have no major behavioral concerns, and will be available for grooming this month to start the rotation. A $50 deposit is required to hold a new client appt, which goes entirely towards the first groom.
If you have friends or family interested, please reach out to me directly via TEXT @ 781-733-7461. I will update the post when the spots are filled. Openings on our schedule donāt pop up too often, so this is a great time to get in with us if youāve been waiting!
Isnāt this the cutest?!! Crafts by Sharon made this for us! We have some here for sale if anyone is interested!
Thatās a wrap for 2023 for us at Seaside! Thank you so much for being such amazing and generous clients. We greatly appreciate all the thoughtful cards, gifts, gratuities and treats we received this holiday season. We wish you all a healthy and peaceful holiday season! We will be closed until January 3rd and away from the phone for a much needed break. See you all next year!!!!
It appears as though all of Scituate is without power still, meaning we will be unable to open today. The week before Christmas, this is just very unfortunate. š We will be individually texting clients after 7 am. Stay safe everyone. ā¤ļøUPDATE! power is on, we are open!!
We lost power. Calling all clients. Do not come in for your appt! 12/18 at 10:15. We will update as soon as we can!
SAY WHAT!!! š¶š¾š°š°š¾š¦®
Letās help some shelter pups over the holidays and give one lucky client a free grooming session!
For every dollar dropped in our donation bin (on our counter in the salon), get one entry towards winning a FREE GROOM at Seaside! $1=1 entry, $10=10 entries etc. Drawing will be at the end of our work day on 12/22 and hopefully we will drop a FULL envelope of $$ over at SAH!!! This will will be cash only donation, monitored by Billy, drawing will be videoed and posted on Facebook!
Letās go!
Happy Sunday everyone!
The Holiday Season is officially upon us!
To help us work as efficiently as possible, please be sure to drop off and collect dogs on time. We will text (or call if requested) for pick up! Please do not show up until we let you know your pup is ready to go home and try to refrain from texting to ācheck inā for pick up at 3:30 because itās getting dark and seems like 8 pm (this happens every year because it seems so late because itās SO DARK)!! We will likely be working later some evenings as the Christmas holiday gets closer. Please be patient with us ā¤ļø
We hope everyone has an amazing holiday season and we will be doing our best to post adorable pics!
Hereās a large dose of cute dogs to help get your day off to the right start!
We hope you had a nice Thanksgiving!!! Please read this post for some important info in regards to the virus that has hit some states in the US.
We are aware that there is a respiratory virus going around that in some cases, has been very severe because it doesnāt respond to antibiotics (not surprising, viruses donāt). As many of you already know, we take sanitization VERY seriously at the salon and will continue to do so, even more so than normal. We use special sanitizer that is specifically formulated to kill the toughest viruses. (Itās called 256, feel free to check it out).
What we need from our clients is the following:
*Donāt panic. We are not panickedā¦just watching closely and taking some extra precautions. Please donāt cancel your appts in fear. If thereās an issue, we will alert all clients and take necessary steps. We are diligently following this on social media and through reliable news sources. There is a very LOW rate of death with this. Remain cautious but no panicking! The news has caught the wind of this one, but truthfully, viruses are flowing around all the time.
*Please be diligent with your pupā¦ESPECIALLY if youāve traveled with your pup, boarded, or your dog is frequently in play with others. Make choices that work for your pup, but if your dog is actively around and playing with others, make sure theyāre healthy and vaccinated according to your vetās recommendations.
*If you notice any symptoms at all, call your vetā¦DO NOT take your dog anywhere elseā¦same protocol as any respiratory virus, gastro issue, or any other illness. Respiratory illness is really contagious, so extra care must be taken.
*Please pick your dogs up immediately after their grooms are completed. This allows us time to properly sanitize between dogs and limits exposure.
*Please text me with any questions or concerns and remember to smile like Sweetie!
Thanks so much! ~Allison & Billy
Some pics from today ( and some from a couple days back)!!! All Alyssa managed was to get a picture of Bobs beautiful teefers. We have to work on Alyssaās photo count š¤£š¬

Chief is in the United States Marines for Halloween! We LOVE IT! Letās see those costumes!!
Hey Seaside clients! We hope everyoneās doing well!
We just wanted to throw out a quick reminder to make sure you check your dates for your November and December appts. We have had a ļæ¼TON of last-minute rescheduling happening lately, which has been super time consuming! We would SUPER appreciate if folks could check the dates prior to make sure the appt is good! For the holiday weeks, those are āspecialtyā appts, and we have been holding many of those appts for as long as a yearā¦please donāt cancel on us last minute. If you need to check your appts, text us! The holidays are booked, we are now keeping a waitlist. Last minute cancels cause us to lose out on a spot, so we ask for everyoneās consideration, especially during the holidays! Thanks everyone! š¾ā¤ļø
This is not our client, but our hearts go out to Maggieās family. There are a few emergency vets in our area including Angell, VCA and some on the Cape. This is a good reminder to always keep an eye on your pups, they get into things easily. And if they do, donāt wait. Toxicity happens fast.
Please read and share this post as it could save a dog's life.
This week we found out the devastating news that one of our amazing grooming pups passed away unexpectedly. She was playing in her yard and ate a poisonous mushroom and died within 3 hours.
While Tufts Emergency Veterinary Hospital is a wonderful place, they were not able to care for this very sick pup. The owners did not know where else to go so they drove all the way to Ocean State Emergency Veterinary Specialists in RI and by that time it was too late. She sadly passed within ten minutes of walking in the door. These owners acted fast and did everything right and it still happened too fast for them to get the help she needed.
By sharing this very sad story, we hope to raise awareness about two very important tips that every pet owner should be aware of:
1. With all of the rain we have been getting, there are mushrooms everywhere right now. The Vet said this is the worst mushroom outbreak they have seen in years and 4 dogs were seen earlier that day for the same thing. So please be mindful if you have mushrooms in your yard and also keep an eye out when you walk your dog.
2. There are closer places to get your dog Emergency Care in Central Massachusetts than driving to RI that we want more people to know about.
The Veterinary Emergency Group is right in Shrewsbury, MA.
(196 Boston Turnpike, phone: 508-590-9319)
They are open 24/7, you do not need to call ahead, and it is about 15 minutes away from Tufts.
If you are not from central Massachusetts, we encourage you to find the two closest emergency veterinary clinics and save the contact information in case you ever need it.
If you suspect your dog ate a poisonous mushroom you can also call the *Animal Poison Emergency Hotline: 888-426-4435 (*Please note there is a fee for this).

We are absolutely devastated by the loss of our sweet friend, Maggie. If this post helps save even one dog's life then it will be worth sharing.
*This post was shared with permission of Maggie's wonderful family. Our heartfelt condolences go out them and everyone who loved her. She was such a special girl and she will always have a place in our hearts.ā¤ļø

I thought Iād share this very special picture my sister took of me with my boys today. We lost both our girls this past spring and miss them terribly, so capturing special moments with my boys means so much ā¤ļøš¾
Old man Oscar has some āOscar the grouchā moments and he got some serious spice on occasion, but we have a good thing going because we trust each other after 4 years together. š¾š¾
