Proud trainer here!! The girls did incredible at the Heritage Dressage Association show today!! 🎉🐴🎉🐴

The ladies cleaned up in Intro A and B with Sport, Makenna, and JH! Scores went up to 69%🎉🎉

-Caroline and Sport won Intro A in Caroline’s first show ever! So excited for Caroline to be out conquering the wiggly Sport!

-Juliana and Makenna had high 60’s in Juliana’s first showing, very excited to see this pairing grow further as Juliana has been working so hard going into this!!

-Sophie and JH made great strides in intro A and B. They won Intro B after working on that suppleness in between tests! So exciting for another first showing on a tricky pony!

-Brooke had an incredible time in her second show ever up in the 60’s on Makenna in Intro B and Sport in Intro C. She managed riding two different horses like a champ!

Not pictured are my incredible Training level students!

-Josie had great scores on Sport, winning Training 1 and doing some great riding in Training 2. Very excited to get her into the ring with us before she heads back to IDA at school.

-Sue impressed me so much at Training 1&2 with her dressage Demi! He is a hunter king at heart and I appreciate them both dipping their toes into the dressage ring and killing it staying in the 60’s with massive improvement through the two tests!

Finally my leadline girls finished the day off with two more blues and reds!

-Chloe did wonderful work with JH showing off the breakthroughs in her riding that she has made over the last couple of months.

-Maggie moved up to a step above leadline and amazed me doing impressive work with Makenna girl!

All in all what a great day thank you to the incredible team behind me…RITA BROWN! And to all the girls for pulling their weight and supporting every other rider along the way! Go SRS!!

Love this little pony! Up and out! He’s not an easy boy to get around but I appreciate how he teaches me to be present and ride every step! Huge thank you to Rita A. Brown for guiding me every step of the way I would t be anywhere without you!!! Congratulations to Sarah C. Potter and Elizabeth J. Carroll on their success at this NEDA Sprinf show!! Thank you Sue Barrett for coming out to support and lend a helping hand!

I can’t believe it has taken me so long to post about John Henry’s first dressage show at the end of April. I took him out to Mystic, Connecticut with my incredible trainer Rita Brown. Thanks to her expert guidance I was able to get my little opinionated pony around for very respectable scores in the mid 60s. I’m so proud of my little hunter pony coming out and doing great work in a new discipline for him. It was also very exciting for me as I have been out of the show for almost 2 years. As always, all my gratitude goes to Rita A. Brown for any of my success in the ring, I would be a football without her. 🐴🏈🖤 up next , NEDA Spring!!

What a fabulous day out!!! So proud of this crew!

Jasna Pittman did incredible work with Miss Makenna Kai earning mid to high 60% with major improvement between tests!

Chloe Costello took both of the perfect ponies down centerline in leadline and cleaned up by winning first and second with scores in the 70’s!

My boy John Henry was a star for me in training level tests! Winning his classes and high point open rider with a 71%🎉🎉🎉

Exciting opportunities are coming to Scituate Riding School in February! Two of our lovely horses are looking for some extra one on one companionship and will soon be available for half lease. Blingh and Makenna are both wonderfully talented dressage horses looking to find partners who want to learn the ropes and spend time building a relationship with an equine partner. Half leasing includes 3 weekly semi-private lessons and one weekly free ride for $1350. This experience is best suited for riders with experience looking to get their foot in the door of ownership. What a white out weekend it was!

Show day at Briggs was a huge success! So proud of all the success! Chloe Costello and Maggie Karlburg cleaned up their leadline classes with scores up to 82% on John Henry! Each getting a first and second placing and great feedback to work with over the winter.🎉Jasna Pittman was incredible at her first dressage show ever with Makenna Kai. This show was monumental for their growth as a pair and I am so excited to see them continue to figure it all out!!

Proud is an understatement!! These four ladies handled the pressure of horse showing so incredibly well. We love our arena time at SRS so dipping our toes into riding in a field was a huge jump but every one of these girls looked as if they had been out there many times before even though none of them have ridden off property before let alone participate in a horse show.

Great scores all around! Brooke Costello receiving a 60% on the beautiful Makenna Kai in Intro C on this mares first time at a show in many years! Morgan Shay did excellent job working with a tricky pony receiving a 60% even with an error on John Henry! Chloe Costello and Maggie Karlburg had an incredible showing in lead line with JH I’m super proud of these hard workers. They both handled field riding like pros and did excellent work in the ring with scores up to 76%

Thank you to Heritage Dressage Association for putting on a wonderfully run and educational show. Of course we couldn’t do any of this here at SRS without the help of Rita Brown and Mary Costello as well as without our great hard working horses and our home barn family. A slightly late congragulations to these hard working lady’s on leveling up last weekend! We only started working with our learning levels materials 3 months ago and these ladies have already breezed through rainbow level! We at SRS are very proud of this group and excited to see what they accomplish now that they’re in red level!
