I will resume grooming at the beginning of April, initially for dogs under 20 lbs until the mid-month and get the okay to start grooming all sizes again

Will be back to grooming mid April! I will totally understand if I see a lot of chop jobs while I’m gone 😂😂😂

02/11/2025

We are fully booked for grooming appointments this week and weekend. However, we do have a cancellation call list. To those who were hoping to get in before Kellee moves and I head for surgery, I sincerely apologize. I plan to return to grooming full-time in April, but please note that I may not be able to handle dogs over 25 lbs until mid-April (to be determined).

I will do my best to fit as many clients into my future schedule as possible. That said, again, I will need to prioritize clients in Daniels County and those who have been with me for years. Additionally, as I no longer have a bather, I’m unable to take in as many dogs as I used to. We’ll likely be booking out 8+ weeks, so scheduling in advance will be essential. I’m still hopeful that another experienced groomer will join me sooner than later.

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and kind words🥹

Finishing the schedule for this month, and there are very few spots left unfortunately. I will be back to work starting April 21st (or earlier if I feel ready.) Thank you all for your patience & kindness. ~Jasmyn Jensen

I will get back to everyone with grooming dates tomorrow! Thanks all, you’ve been amazingly understanding 🙏🏻

01/28/2025

Kellee will be leaving on February 17th, so both of us will be off starting at the same time. If you’d like to schedule a tidy-up/full groom appointment to hold your pooch over until I’m back to work in early to mid-April, just let us know! We’ll work you into the schedule before we are filled. Thanks all!

If the stars and moon align, we may be having another experienced groomer familiar with homesteading and rural living moving to scobey with her family in the next 6 months. Let’s all cross our fingers and toes so that I can keep all of you in the clientele! 🥰🙏🏻
Here are some of her grooms. She will fit right in!

I kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we move into the next couple months. With everything going on and losing both of my helpers, I will need to reduce my clientele. All of my Daniels County clients will remain on the schedule. However, I’ll unfortunately have to let go of many out-of-town clients, with the exception of those who have been with me for years or maintain consistent appointments every 6-8 weeks (subject to change.)

Starting in March, once I’ve recovered, I will be working Sunday through Thursday. There’s also some exciting news: we may have a veterinarian working out of my shop every Friday once the weather warms up!

Please don’t take it personally if I can no longer groom your dog(s)—this decision is incredibly difficult for me, but I’m only one person. 🥺

We’ll be doing our best to accommodate as many dogs as possible throughout February until Kellee leaves (her official last day is still to be determined).

Thank you all for your support! If you happen to know of any groomers interested in relocating to Scobey to work full- or part-time, please don’t hesitate to reach out. 🙏

For those who like their dogs to have longer hair in the winter: you may need to do a couple bath and brush out appointments (less expensive than full grooms) in between full grooms to make sure we don’t end up matted beyond being able to be brushed out. Our only options for matted coats is shaving with a 7f (1/8th of a inch), a 5f (1/4th of an inch) or sometimes we are able to get a slightly longer blade in between like a 4f (3/8th of an inch). If these lengths don’t appeal to you, and/or you don’t have time to do correct method brushing and combing at home, I would book a bath and brush out every 2-3 weeks and a full groom every 5-6 weeks. Otherwise 6-8 weeks is totally fine for the lengths mentioned above, or for those who brush and comb their dogs correctly AND regularly! Hopefully this post isn’t super confusing and helps some of my clients out that aren’t sure how often to groom their furry family members 🥰
