A Cuterebra is an uncommon bit fly infestation that can be seen in outdoor cats and dogs, especially in the late summer and fall. It is transmitted by flies laying eggs around areas in which the pet is exposed. Although unsightly this can be treated by cleaning, removing the larvae and a topical flea and tick prevention. Thankfully Bruiser here was rescued by one of our clients and brought in for prompt treatment and removal! Bruiser is doing great and recovered remarkably. Of course Onyx had to check up on the little guy who weighed a whooping 1.12 pounds! ❤️

Daily activities include: surgical prep, helping with appointments, animal handling, medicating pets, client communication and more. Person needs to work well in fact paced clinic setting.

Clinic open Monday to Friday 7:30-4:30
