We're already on week three of the 2025 spring season! Here's a look at what we did on week 2!
Continued harvesting carrots, collards, turnips, fennel, and lettuce. We also spread out nutrient-rich rabbit manure to power the plants through the growing season. 🐇🌱🌻

This season, we have returning members, new members, and a new CSA Farm Manager. We braved the cold and wet for the first harvest and came out with giant carrots, turnips, collards, lettuce, brocoli, fennel, mint, and green onions. Yum!

We still have openings for the spring season CSA 🌱

Members can expect to take home a mix of greens (chard, kale, collards), herbs, and root vegetables such as carrots and radish. Onions and potatoes are also in the ground!

We've been busy planting and tending to the garden and are excited to kick off our spring CSA! The 12-week spring season runs from Sunday, Feb 23 through Sunday, May 18.
Working members will harvest from 2pm-4pm on Sundays, and all members can get their share of the harvest between 4pm and 5pm.
Subscription costs are $30 per harvest for non-working members and $15 for working members.
Note: The cost helps pay for seeds, water, etc, as well as the salary for our CSA Farm Manager.

We just wrapped up week four of our 12 week Fall CSA, and goodness, we have been busy!

Seeds and transplants set out weeks ago are coming along nicely. We've begun harvesting kale, arugula, mustard greens, and rutabaga greens--in addition to the warm season veggies that are still going strong.

Our working members have been putting out transplants of cilantro, parsley, fennel, brocoli, and more, while also w**ding around up-and-coming beets, turnips, and carrots.

It was a beautiful afternoon at the garden (hot, but beautiful)! We're definitely welcoming fall with open arms 🌻🌻🌻
Forgot to take pics of the harvest, but members picked up herbs, green onions, okra, winter squash, noodle beans, and watermelon.
After harvesting, we had folks pulling w**ds, adding fertilizer, watering and transplanting broccoli and kale seedlings.

Our Fall CSA is starting up! We'll be meeting on Sunday afternoons for the next 12 weeks.
Initial harvests will have winter squash, okra, green onions, watermelon, and herbs. Greens (spinach, lettuce, chard, etc.) and root veggies (radish, beets, fennel, carrots, etc) will be ready soon!

We are at our best when growing healthy food and bringing people together to better our community. Our 4 acre garden site is the anchor for our growing and giving activities, tended by our Garden Managers. Since 2004, our organization has operated or hosted: community gardens, children’s gardens, donation gardens, and a horticulture therapy garden for the H.A.L.T. program of the 15th Judicial District Court – all alongside our flagship Community Supported Agriculture farm.
