We appreciate our entire staff EVERYDAY. This week is extra special because we love taking every chance we get to show our ladies how much they mean to Coast and Mt Hermon. We kicked off this week with a trip to the pumpkin patch. Without these wonderful ladies we wouldn’t be able to provide our patients and clients the level of care we do. Happy Vet Tech week to all the vet techs out there! ✨Here at Coast/MHV we transformed our week to be about ALL support staff including our receptionists! Know you are appreciated 💕🐾

Today our mascot turns FIVE! 🥳

We adopted Simon four years ago from the . He was undergoing surgery to be a tripod at the time and we fell in love with him instantly!

He greets every client in the lobby and has many fans! He is way to brave. He loves to steal coffee creamers and everyone’s breakfast. He is the best companion and stress relief. He is the most handsome too!

Here is Dr Phinn flushing the nasolacrimal duct. This duct connects the eye to the nose and often becomes clogged. This results in eye discharge not being able to drain properly causes crusting around one or both eyes. Flushing usually resolves the problem.

Coast Veterinary has a beautiful modern dog and cat hospital in Scotts Valley. We, at Coast Veterinary, have a vision of veterinary health care as a place where clients and their pets are cared for with compassion and receive personalized quality service. The medicine is a complete health care approach integrating both modern medicine such as digital x-ray, in-house blood machines, surgery, dental procedures and alternative medicine such as herbal supplements, acupuncture and laser therapy. Coast Vet was founded in 2009 by Cori Phinn, DVM as an ambulatory equine service and has continued to expand to best serve clients and their animals. Dr. Phinn was born and raised in our local community and is now living here in Scotts Valley with her husband and two children. She works in the clinic as well as providing ambulatory equine service and house calls. She works with Dr Erika Sullenberger, an experienced local veterinarian certified in both canine rehabilitation and acupuncture, who will be offering physical therapy, water treadmill, laser therapy, as well as general medicine and surgery. We also have a talented groomer on site. Come meet our amazing skilled staff that we refer to as the Dream Team.
