Dental health is an extremely vital part of your pet's overall health. Dental disease can cause many different health issues involving the heart, kidneys, and lungs!

Pictured below is the mouth of one of our employees 14-year-old Yorkie/Maltese mix. Before they started into veterinary medicine, they did not understand the importance of dental care for pets. During this cleaning we pulled 8 teeth and found an abscess, which was making it very difficult for him to eat

Now he eats much easier and enjoys life again!

By starting at a young age, brushing their teeth can go a very long way for their oral health and help prevent dental disease later in life.

January is National Walk Your Dog Month!

Walking your dog comes with a lot of benefits for not only your pup, but for you too!

Walking your dog is a great way to provide mental stimulation along with physical exercise. All of the new smells and people is a great way to exercise.

Both humans and pups benefit from physical exercise. Walking is a great way to keep your pup at a healthy weight, improve joint health, and help them get better sleep.

3.) Building confidence.
Regular walking with you at your pup's side helps them gain confidence to face new and scary objects.

Walking is a great way to get extra energy out of your pup. This creates a calmer pup more open to training and they will have better retention to what they have learned!
