Established In 2022, Stay With Me Animal Rescue Is A No-Kill Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Dog Rescue Organization That Primarily Operates Within The State Of Arizona. We Are A Small, Foster-Based Rescue Organization Who Prides Itself On Quality Over Quantity, Educating The Public On Issues Surrounding Dog Ownership/Rescue, And Simply Helping Our Community Of Animal Lovers In Any Way We Can. Prior To Their

Adoption, All Of Our Canines Are:
-Examined By A Veterinarian
-Spayed/Neutered
-Microchipped
-Dewormed (Given At Least Two Doses Administered Two Weeks Apart)
-DHPP Vaccinated (Given At Least Two Doses Administered Three Weeks Apart)
-Rabies Vaccinated (Unless Under Three Months Of Age)
-Fecal Tested
-Provided Any Additional Medical Care Needed As Long As The Animal's Condition is Treatable And A High Quality Of Life Can Still Be Achieved. Furthermore, We Aim To Deliver Basic Training And Behavioral Support To All Of Our Canines While They Are In Foster Care, Although We Emphasize That Each Of Our Dogs Will Continue To Be A Work In Progress Even After Adoption. We Set The Bar High For Our Adopters, As We Thoroughly Believe In Standing By Our Animals Through Thick And Thin. Life Is Ruff, But, At The End Of The Day, Dogs & People Really Only Need One Thing:

Panini (first photo) and Reuben (second photo) came to us in September of 2024, when a ten day stray hold brought forward no owner. To our complete surprise, just hours before her spay appointment, Panini delivered SIX healthy puppies and we didn’t have to call Maury to figure out Reuben was the father. Reuben, although loyal to his baby mama, had no real intentions of helping Panini raise their family and was promptly placed up for adoption after being vetted… this didn’t mean he would find his forever home right away, though.
Fast forward four months…
Panini, now finished raising their children as a single mom and fully vetted too, was finally ready to find her people along side Reuben, who was still waiting for a family of his own… BUT, in true Panini fashion, she wasn’t done surprising us just yet! Shaking things up one last time, Panini unexpectedly captured the hearts of some wonderful potential adopters during a meet+greet for her daughter, Toast! We all agreed that for this home, Panini was simply the perfect fit 🩷 Almost as if he had said “ladies first” to his former lover, just a week later Reuben found his people too 💙
Rescue is a bumpy road filled with twists and turns… Despite all the detours, there’s truly nothing better than watching everything fall into place for two dogs who wanted nothing more than someone to stay with them 🥪❤️🥙

After being with her new family for nearly a month, Ciabatta was returned to us with a pr*****ed re**um that her people were unwilling to love her through, despite noting on their original adoption application “We understand French bulldogs require a lot of care and we are prepared for whatever is needed.”
Luckily, at Stay With Me, we stay with our dogs through thick and thin!
Over these last few weeks, Ciabatta received not one, not two… but FOUR PURSE STRING SUTURES and finally a COLOPEXY to correct her pr*****ed re**um. Ciabatta also rightfully earned the nickname “Cia-Booty” during that time. Since undergoing the colopexy on Thursday, February 6th, our precious baby girl has been on the mend and doing exceptionally well throughout this whole process! It’s early on, but at this rate Ciabatta and her Cia-Booty will be back to 100% in no time!
We are overwhelmed with gratitude for…

Four Legged Friends Animal Hospital and Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists North Scottsdale who treated Ciabatta with four purse string sutures beginning from January 8th to February 2nd,

Palm Glen Animal Hospital for performing the colopexy on such short notice without hesitation,

Two Pups Wellness Fund and Angel’s Care Fund who provided us with grants to help cover Ciabatta’s medical expenses,

And Four Paws and Friends who connected us to Dr. Mangone at Palm Glen, so Ciabatta could get the care she needed.

Together, we saved Ciabatta’s life and gave her another opportunity at a happy, healthy future! Rescue is never easy, but it’s way less difficult when we can all come together to save a dog ❤️
