This week, we've had a special little guest, TTAS alum, Sebastian. Sebastian has been battling head tilt and an inner ear infection for the past 1.5 months. He lives in Cottonwood with his awesome family. Since he didn't seem to be making much progress with the meds he was on, we had Mary bring Sebastian down for an appointment with our vet. We all had the appointment together so we could discuss a different treatment plan that has worked well for us in the past for stubborn EC flare-ups. The vet agreed so we switched things up a bit. Sebastian stayed with us so we could monitor him as he had some new medications added to the Panacur. We wanted to make sure he tolerated all the medications well before sending him back home. He is such a little trooper. He has been eating great on his own since the start, which is huge. He likes you to feed him hay piece by piece. Sebastian is still his adorable little self, showing you love by licking you. He even gave the vet some kisses. He has blanket bumpers in his space and other soft items he can lean against and lay his head on to rest, which helps a lot. It is a little up and down with his balance. Sometimes, he can lie down and get back up, sometimes he does need help getting up. Mary and Steve (his forever family) are taking amazing care of him. Sebastian's spirits are really good and we have seen a little progress on his balance with a small change to one of his medications. Please send healing thoughts for our special little guy.

It is a chilly and very windy day in Scottsdale, AZ. Winter and all the TTAS bunnies are happy to have super comfy and warm blankets to lounge on in their forever homes and at the sanctuary. :) We had a busy bunny uber morning dropping off bunny sitting guest, Millie, dropping off a carload of supply orders and will be picking up bunny sitting guest, Jellybean, this evening.

Another laundromat visit. With all our holiday guests, we had double the laundry. It's great to start the year all caught up on laundry. 😊 Thank you so much for the laundry donations! We spend about a $100 a month on making sure the bunnies have super clean beds and blankets every day. Your donations are a huge help! 💕

Happy New Year! Thank you so much to our forever families, foster families, donors, volunteers, shoppers and Facebook friends for all your support in 2024! We are so blessed to have such amazing support. We look forward to another year of sharing the adventures of the Tranquility Trail bunnies with you. :) We have lots of fun things planned for 2025! Today, the bunnies received a round of Christmas willow toys. 🎅 Gracie had lots of fun with her willow basket. The gray bunny siblings all love tossing their baskets around. 😊

Duncan loved his Christmas basket. 🎅🎄

Winston and Angel dug into their Christmas basket so quickly, we didn't have time to start to video until they were already working on the timothy pop. 😊🎄

Just like little kids, sometimes the wrapping is more fun than the present. 😁🎄 ( don't worry, we took the paper away so Winter could concentrate on her new toy)

Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary

Tranquility Trail is a sanctuary specializing in the care of senior and special needs animals. Each animal has a home with us until we find the perfect family for them. Tranquility Trail welcomes visitors on a daily basis so they can learn how to properly care for their rabbits and get ideas for stimulating their curious nature.

Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary is a new generation of animal sanctuary. We provide an environment that nurtures each animal. We take care of both the physical as well as emotional needs of each animal. We provide a sanctuary that is peaceful and happy. Our sanctuary is painted in bright colors with soft relaxing music. Each animal receives play time each day in one of our designated play areas. We also have lounging areas where volunteers can help socialize each animal.

Our world-renowned youth programs include summer camp, leadership training, reading programs, job training programs, internship programs, therapy sessions for children with social anxiety, fear of animals and much more.

Tranquility Trail offers exceptional programs of rescue, rehabilitation, sanctuary, holistic care, community outreach and education, pet parenting support and collaborative partnerships. With an eye to decreasing the euthanasia of adoptable and treatable animals in Arizona, Tranquility Trail works in partnership with the animal rescue organizations in and around Arizona and the southwest.
