Highly accomplished rider and trainer, Janet Hischer, owns and operates Twisted Tree Farm alongside her husband, Larry Hischer in Scottsdale, AZ. With over 30 years of experience, Janet has been a top competitor and trainer at local, national and international levels since she was a child. With Grand Prix wins at the national and international levels, one of the titles she has claimed is the Ameri

can Grand Prix Rookie of the Year. Janet is dedicated to producing riders and horses who are competitive at local, national and international levels from the beginners to grand prix riders. She builds equestrian athletes through physical and mental skill development in order for each individual to achieve her/his goals. Additionally, Janet’s international networking with top professionals brings unique opportunities to all riders at Twisted Tree Farm through clinic, coaching and horse purchasing opportunities.

Another fun day at the Sunshine Series!!! Team TTF’s 6 year olds were super. Maddie Basha’s “Nova” was 4th and Trevor Smith’s “Le Boy Z” was 6th in the Championship Class today.

Team TTF was represented well in the $15,000 six bar class at the Desert International Horse Park Sunshine series horse show. 14 year old Megan Sweeney and “Old Fashioned” jumped up to 1.50 taking the 6th place finish. Taylor Bowman and Molly Cases’s “Ibiza” were amazing jumping up to 1.84 meters for the shared win with two other riders.
A six bar class is a high jump competition for horses where the obstacles get higher after each round. The six obstacles are placed in a row, usually with two gallop strides between each.
