A client has been feeding a feral cat who had 4 adorable kittens. Today, the momma cat was hit by a car and died. These 4 babies are now motherless. They are old enough to find new homes, and need to do so ASAP as they are at risk of starving (my client cant afford to feed/care for 4 kittens) and their mother has not taught them how to hunt, they are also at risk of dying from flea anemia, getting killed by stray dogs, eaten by coyotes, or worse runover by a car.

So she is going to gather them up and bring them to us, I absolutely can not keep them, but we can foster them and try and find homes. We will also get them spayed and neutered, microchipped, and socilized to people, cats, and dogs.

If you are thinking about adding a kitten to your family, please reach out. There will be no adoption fee. I know they are "boring" colored but I promise you a tabby cat will love and cherish you just as much as a pretty calico will!

The box is restocked as we were able to get 50 cans of cat/kitten wet food and a couple bags of cat and kitten chow.

We some paper sacks with kitten chow, with wet kitten food, and some even have a toy in there.

We also have bags of puppy and dog food out.

Duke & Dory say the salon will be closed Thursday through Sunday to celebrate the 4th of July ( and Marcias birthday 🎂) with friends and family by the pool!

They also say to keep your pets safe inside as more pets are lost during the fireworks than any other time of the year.

Cowboy the biggest squishy Scottish fold came in for a quick 30 minute brush out. His hair is super dense and plushy and gets compacted easily and he cant handle a full hour of brushing so his momma brought him in for a touch up to keep his coat healthy and mat free in-between appointments.

We've had half a dozen folks stop by or messaged us recently looking for kitten chow and wet food for mama cats — cats who have either been dumped on them or strays that found a soft place to land to have their kittens.

While we currently have plenty of dog food, we’re almost completely out of cat food, and we have no wet food or kitten chow left.

I’ll be making a supply run soon to help these families and to support them in getting the mama cats and kittens spayed/neutered and rehomed. In the meantime, I wanted to put out the “cat bat signal” to see if anyone might have kitten chow or cans of wet cat food (maybe ones your own cats won’t eat!) that they’d be willing to donate.

This community has always gone above and beyond whenever I’ve asked for help, and I don’t take that lightly. I only reach out like this when it truly matters.
