Normally Christmas time doesn't feel too chaotic to me. But this year is different. Pardon me while I take this moment to overshare.... 🤪🤣

Last week's weather resulted in several cancellations, which no big deal. It left me time to do things around the house, however ........ add to that our daughter is coming home from college this weekend (and we'll have to pick her up from the train station in Kalamazoo), then take her to her Dr. appointment in Grand Rapids the following day (both our kids have Type 1 Diabetes and have been going to DeVos Pediatric every 3 mos for years, but have aged out and will now start going to an "adult" Endocrine) Anyways... add to that not being open on Christmas Eve & Day, New Years Eve and Day it leaves me with trying to cram clients in on days I don't usually work (Sat. & Sun.) or adding them to already full days. 😁

I'll also add..... The death of my senior Hospice Foster dog a few weeks ago, Ebb. 😢 Along with the failing health of my 2 senior dogs and senior cat......the heart is really heavy these days..... BUT your pups lighten it . 💞🥰

So....... if I don't post an adorable Christmas picture with your pup..... it doesn't mean I love them any less 🥰 It just means..We ain't got time for that! 😂

And all this is just part.... of the chaos.😝

This is the 4️⃣th year that Cartier Mansion has graciously opened their doors 🚪 for a holiday tour 🎄to help out the Mason County Mutts and our mission.
🌟 "Working within the community to help animals in need." 🌟
It's a cause that is near and dear to my heart. My love for animals extends way past what I do for a living. I am the Vice President and Secretary of Mason County Mutts and have been since 2015.

This year, not only is the mansion open….carriage house AND Ludington House Bed and Breakfast is fully open for the tour!

If you have never been inside, now is the time to check it out. Especially when it’s all in its glory and decorated for the holidays. 🎄
And even better, ALL PROCEEDS go to help local animals.

Give back and help the dogs this Christmas Season! 🐾🎅🏻

One week from today we will be opening our doors to the public for our 4th Annual Holiday Tour benefiting Mason County Mutts.

Join us Sunday, December 8th from 1:00-4:00 PM. Carson the Butler will be there to greet you and welcome you into his home! New this year: tour our all guest rooms at Ludington House Bed and Breakfast.

The cost of touring both houses is $20 per person and all profits will be donated to Mason County Mutts. Tickets to be purchased day-of at Cartier Mansion.

My sweet young friend Arlo has grown into his ears!! 🖤

I'm still grinding away working 5 days a week, 8 to 9+ hours a day.
I'm halfway through my client schedules for 2025
and looking forward to both kids being home for Thanksgiving this year. 💞
