The client I got it from originally purchased it for her Newfie.
I haven't even had to raise it yet. It really is a great height for big dogs .

Owning your own business means working on your day off sometimes and not getting paid.

I can't complain though. My temperamental electric grooming table finally broke, so I was in desperate need of a new one. I got a really great deal on a one from an awesome client. I am so grateful and can't wait to use it tomorrow!🖤

I know many of my friends 🐕 will be happy about it! 🥰

This is the cap of a peroxide bottle.
And I pulled this little bu**er from one of my friends armpits this morning

Some people might think it's too early for ticks. But honestly I've been seeing them here and there and pulling them off friends all Winter. Some just crawling, some embedded, some embedded and engorged.

Your best about at protecting your dog from tickborn illnesses, is checking them all over..... especially in places they can hide; like armpits, between toes, ears etc. And using a prevention, whether that may be topical or oral... and maybe even year round. Check with your Vet.

Here I am again, post slackin! 🤦‍♀️
I can't believe this is the first I have posted this month! 😳 And it's the 9th of February!! 😬

It's like this.....when my friends 🐶 and I are all done with the grooming; we hang out, we chat, we play, we snuggle, we have treats (them a biscuit and me coffee) and sometimes we don't even think much to snap pics. And let's be real here....it's about them. Not you guys 😂 So while you may not be seeing many posts of all my cute friends, rest assured it's just because we have better things to do. 🤣 But here are a few I managed to snap over the past couple weeks. If your pup isn't in this post, dont take it personal!! Your dog probably just told me.... "Really? Another picture?"

I'm still here.... chugging along! Working Monday through Friday anywhere from 8 to sometimes 10 hours a day....cuz my boss is a fool. 😉😂
And unfortunately....... no I am STILL not taking new clients, there are just not enough hours in the day. And when I'm not working or spending time with my family and pets, I'm spending time with other animals as part of Mason County Mutts .

It's been a great holiday season. Christmas 🎄 and New Years were both quiet and relaxing. Though I did work a few days during the week. I got to enjoy spending some time with my little family. Hope you all enjoyed the holidays too! 🎅🥂

Sorry for the lack of posts of my cute friends!

I've just been busy working, making new friends🐕 and grooming 🛁💨✂️ my old ones. I did manage to snap a picture 📷 or two of a couple of friends that were in gettin' tidy.

Busy with Mason County Mutts stuff. (If you didn't know, it's the local 501 C3 Non Profit animal group I'm a part of) 🐕🐈‍⬛️
🖤Securing a place in California (and transportation 🚎 to get there) for a long time resident of Mason County Animal Control. (8 months my friend Mojo has spent in the shelter 😥)
🖤Took an injured dog to the vet. 🏥 (He was supposedly "found" and currently is at Mason County Animal Control , we are also trying to find him a foster home 🏡, as he is needing his leg amputated)
🖤Getting ready for the holiday 🎄event this Sunday the 10th at Cartier Mansion 🏰 (check it out!) Did you know the Grinch is going to be there!? 💚

Mutt stuff isn't a paying job....but very near and dear to my heart.

Oh ...and the transmission went out on my car 🥴😅 so my husband and I are sharing a vehicle 🛻 at the moment.

And I decorated my shop (and home) for Christmas! ❤️💚 🎄

So if you don't see any cute pups popping up in your news feed from me. No worries.... you will at some point. 🥰

It pays to be handy. 🔧
I've got this nice, efficient oscillating space heater.
If you have ever been to my shop, you know this is one of the ways I heat it. And it does a dang good job!
So when it started making awful squealing noises and stopped working. I had to get it fixed or replaced ASAP.
It's not old by any means so.... I took it apart and had a look at it. I opened it and cleaned it out. I took the motor apart (the little spindle thing is where the noise was coming from) and once I cleaned out this teeny little bit of dust and dog hair, plugged it back in and turned it on....no more noise.
So I put it all back together and.... ta da! All fixed.😁
