I wanted to jump on here now that things have slowed down at the shop and give an update to all my customers. Next week I will be finishing up mounting all of last years deer. A couple weeks of drying and they will be ready to come home so if you are waiting on one from last year you won’t be waiting much longer. I am also going to be posting more on this page and I plan to post the deer that will be up for mounting that week. You can look at your invoice number and know the status of your deer that is in line to be mounted. I want to thank my customers as it has been one heck of a year and as always I appreciate you trusting me with your trophy.

I will still be open tonight from 7 pm to 9 pm but my hours for tomorrow Sunday December 8 will be changing to 10 am to 2 pm for deer drop offs. The shop will not be open tomorrow night now.

Second firearm season drop off hours for the shop are as follows:

Thursday 12/05- 11 am to 2 pm
Friday 12/06- 11 am to 2 pm
Saturday 12/07- 7 pm to 9 pm
Sunday 12/08- 7 pm to 9 pm

As firearm season approaches, I wanted to let everyone know that this year’s process will be a little different than the last couple of years. The shop will only be open Friday-Sunday from 7 pm to 9 pm each night for drop offs. I will be open with extended hours Monday-Wednesday after firearm season. I will not be able to cape any customer’s deer during that time so any deer brought to me must be caped prior to arriving at the shop. Please remember that if you cannot get me your deer quickly to keep it cool below 40 degrees or get it in the freezer to avoid any hair slippage issues. I have already had a couple issues with hunters not properly caring for their hide in these warm temps and just be aware I cannot stop slippage once it starts. Please take care of your hide as that is the first step in preserving your trophy.

The pictures and videos below will guide you with this process. The shop will probably be very busy when you show up so just hang out talk hunting with the others and check out their trophy as you wait to check in your deer. Good luck next weekend and be safe.

The last month at the shop had been crazy busy and I just wanted to sincerely thank all those that are trusting me with their trophies. I treat every deer that comes into my shop like they are my own and I strive to provide the highest quality mounts possible. I also want to thank my customers waiting on their deer from last year. I appreciate the patience and assure you all that I will get back to mounting those remaining deer after the rush of the season slows down. I just have a handful left to finish from last year. I will get them done as soon as possible as I know you all are excited to see them again. Thank you all again for trusting me to preserve these special animals and memories. I have not made a post in a while as the shop has been hopping but I wanted to jump on here real quick to give an update to my customers waiting on a deer from last year. I do have a handful of deer to finish up from the 2023 season and I will get back on mounting once I get through this busy next couple of weeks. I have been skinning nonstop for the last few weeks which pulls me away from mounting. I appreciate the patience as I work on getting them finished up and back home. I just wanted to share this survey with my customers as I found it interesting. Material and shipping prices continue to increase so this gives you an idea of what to expect this season. I continue to try to stay reasonable for my customers but I use only the best materials and shipping is getting crazy. I always tell people you get what you pay for and producing quality mounts is not cheap.

Hunting season is here! I hope everyone has a fun and safe season. If successful in the field give me a call as I would love the opportunity to mount your trophy. There has been a rumor going around that I am closing up shop, but that is not the case. I am now full time and accepting all deer that come through the door. Please use these reference pictures when caping your deer and remember I would rather have too much than not enough. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call me. I got the honor of doing this for a Veteran that harvested this buck during the Wounded Warrior Hunt this past season. It was a pleasure preserving this deer for him and honoring his service to this great country. Thank you all past and present members of our Armed Forces for all that you do and the many sacrifices you make for the United States of America.

I got the honor of mounting this deer. He is special as the hunter passed away a couple months after harvesting this beautiful buck. I made a rock habitat to hold the harvest picture for the family. I hope as they look at this deer over the coming years they are flooded with memories in the field with him. Thank you for trusting me to preserve such a special deer.

This past weekend I took a break from deer to mount my bobcat and make a custom rock habitat. First bobcat mount under the belt. I am continuing to learn new things to offer to my customers.
