Metallic Accents had a mini photo shoot today. She’s in her every day clothes, but she’s stunning just the same. This 2023 APHA red roan filly is by NRCHA money earner Metallic Chrome, out of a daughter of Shiners Lena Doc! She’s a beautiful mover, and a gentle and quiet filly. She has been trailered and trimmed, and she’s 7 panel negative. Metallic Cat, Shining Spark, Lenas Sugarman, High Brow Cat and Shiners Lena Doc are all ON her papers! Get this gorgeous gal in your pasture while you can.

Great set of papers on this gal- Shining Spark, Lenas Sugarman, Athena Accent, Metallic Cat and Shiners Lena Doc all ON her papers! You’d be hard pressed to find a yearling granddaughter of Metallic Cat at this price. Halter broke, cute, easy to catch and friendly. Has been trailered and trimmed. 7 panel negative!

Dun It Strait Delta “Gemma” (by Dun It Strait - NRHA money earning son of Hollywood Dun It, out of the producing mare Deltas Spicy Diamonds) is the only maternal sibling to Spooks Delta Dude (Equistat #1 APHA reined cow horse sire). We bred Gemma to Metallic Chrome (NRCHA money earning son of Metallic Cat) this season. Gemma’s ultrasound this evening showed a healthy, thriving 💙C**T💙 on board for 2025!

One final checkup for our leased recip mare, 1181. 1181 is carrying a very special foal. We partnered with War Ponies to cross AQHA legend Playgun to APHA mare Smoke N Jet Surprise “Gracie” (hz tobiano, NRHA and NRCHA money earner- owned by War Ponies).

We’re happy to announce 1181 is carrying a healthy and thriving 💙 C**T! 💙 This c**t will be our first tobiano foal born at 4 Line Ranch. We have high hopes for his future, and hope that he will make an impact in the APHA reined cow horse world.

1400+ miles and 6 states in 2 days! 😮‍💨 Our special recipient mare is now in Iowa at 4 Line Ranch. This mare is carrying our Playgun x Smoke N Jet Surprise foal! Smoke N Jet Surprise is owned by War Ponies. She’s a NRHA and NRCHA money earner, and she is homozygous for tobiano, guaranteeing our first tobiano APHA foal! This foal is due to arrive in early April, and will be either bay and white or grey and white.

We took a break from arena work to enjoy trail rides last week. Docs Painted Dice “Sage” logged in 11 miles on Thursday, and another 10 miles on Saturday. Her 3 year old daughter, Mark The Stars “Mimic” (by Hollywood Reminic) joined in on Saturday’s ride. Mimic’s first trail ride taught her many new things, including crossing bridges (both concrete and wooden), as well as a few small water crossings. Mimic has been lightly started under saddle, and we are firm believers in exposing youngsters to everything possible. These new experiences help young horses gain confidence.

Dun It Strait Delta “Gemma” (Dun It Strait - NRHA money earning tobiano son of Hollywood Dun It x Deltas Spicy Diamonds, dam of Equistat #1 APHA reined cowhorse sire Spooks Delta Dude) was bred to Metallic Chrome- NRCHA money earning son of Metallic Cat. We did a 35 day check on her today, and found a happy, healthy embryo with a heartbeat! We are keeping our fingers crossed for a beautiful and healthy tobiano foal in 2025. 🩷

Mark The Stars “Mimic” (Hollywood Reminic x Docs Painted Dice) is finally getting some saddle time in. Mimic is 3 this year, and while I’ve been on her a few times last year, she’ll be getting regular ride time this year.

😎 Kits Stunner Shades 😎 is going to be a really hard one to part with. Sired by Stunned (LTE 111k, PE 196k) and out of our much loved Kit Dual daughter (money earning sorting horse), this c**t is going to go places! He has a great disposition, and doesn’t mind being messed with. He has been trailered several times, and is used to traffic, tractors, dogs, cattle and daily general ranch chaos. This c**t would make a great performance prospect and/or stallion prospect!
He is eligible for the Riata Buckle, NRCHA Stallion Stakes, and the IQHA Ranch Horse Futurity.

Our 2 year old reined cow horse prospect. She’s looking 🔥!

We love starting our day off with seeing our newest mare, “Gemma” on a trailer, bound for Iowa! 😊 We’ll share details about this mare as soon as she’s at our ranch. Strait OnTil Midnight “Tilly” is a blue roan APHA filly by Forest Midnight Comet. Forest Midnight Comet was the 2011 APHA World Show Champion in working cowhorse challenge and 2011 Res. World Champion in Jr. working cowhorse. He was also top 10 in Jr. reining and the reining challenge classes at the 2011 World Show! At 16 hands, he’ll definitely pass some of that height to this filly! Tilly is out of our mare, Strait N Dun It, granddaughter of Hollywood Dun It and Strait From Texas. Tilly has some of the greats in her pedigree. Cow horse, ranch riding, you name it! Tilly has already been trailered and exposed to kids, cattle, dogs, chickens, traffic and various machinery- all of the general ranch chaos. We believe this filly will make a great all around prospect. We don’t expect her to be on the market long. We’ll be posting her on several websites soon, but wanted to make sure our followers had a chance to scoop her up first. 🥰 A deposit holds her to weaning. We are happy to provide references, and welcome phone calls or in person visits. This filly is going to be gorgeous once that foal coat sheds off and her roaning shows through! Tilly is eligible for competition in the Virginia Paint Horse Club Color Classic Futurity. She can also be double registered with the new American Tobiano Horse Association as a tobiano bred foal. Genetics: EE, Aa, nd1/nd2 (homozygous black extension- she cannot produce a red based foal) and negative for OLWS, HYPP, HERDA, GBED, PSSM1, MH. She does carry one copy of IMM. 4️⃣ 0️⃣ 0️⃣ 0️⃣

When we say our foals are exposed to everything, we mean it! 😁 Today we worked the outdoor riding arena ground, so the fillies were up close to the tractor. They didn’t mind a bit. By the time foals leave, they’ve been trailered several times, exposed to other horses and ponies, cows, dogs, chickens, children on bikes, highway traffic sounds and general ranch chaos. We raise quality, not quantity. 🥰
