Sammy is starting to feel better. He isn’t sleeping so much and is more active and eating more during the day. I’m really hoping that this means we are over the worst of it and he is on his way to healing and weight gain so he can be a happy baby. ❤️🐷

HOORAY! I’m finally in my own pen! Momma says she is going to make me a much nicer one but I’m happy with this one right now. I have some rooms to move around, a stall full of straw, my blue ball, and a MUD PIT!! I’m so excited!! I also have lots of tiny pig friends coming up to the fence to meet me. Life is good! ✌🏼❤️🐷
Percilla here! I was getting bored in the trailer while mom works on making my stall so she gave me a really fun ball to play with. I love it! I’ve never had my own toys to play with before!
I’m not sure how the video got set to being extra fast but Oh well! 😂 Miss Percilla is so happy with all of her straw to sleep in tonight so that she can stay warm. It’s not the perfect set up, but so much better than what she had. Tomorrow I’ll look at how badly her leg is injured and get her treated and start working on her stall and turn out. 🥰
We did it guys!! Freedom ride for miss Percilla! We are now on our way to tractor supply to get her some supplies so she stays warm tonight.

Thank you everyone for the donations so far. I am just $50 short of having all the money to pay her off. The feed store closes in an hour. I’m going to load up the trailer and hope there is enough to get her by the time I get up there. It’s been very cold the past few nights, in the 20s, and she has nothing available to keep her warm in any way so I don’t want her to have to spend another freezing night alone!! 😢
This morning I had to stop at a feed store I don’t normally go to and I noticed in the back was a sad looking pig laying in the small crate behind the building. Of corse I went and looked at her. The owner said she is scheduled to be slaughtered for Christmas and she has an injured back leg. She is thin and came up to me and tried to get me to pet her through the bars. Of corse it broke my heart. I asked them how much they had to have for this young sweet girl and they said $250. So I have put $50 down to hold her and am fundraising to finish paying her off, for fixing up and nice pen and stall for her and to have her seen by the vet so we can fix up her leg. Any amount helps! Let’s give this sweet baby the life she deserves!

Buddy update✅
Well, I am going to miss rocking a sweet sleepy piggy in my arms like a baby. But, Buddy is SO much better this morning! Guys, he is going to make it!! He is alert this morning and very interested in food although he isn’t quite up to actually eating it yet. I bet by tonight or tomorrow morning he will be chowing down. He also screamed like a banshee when I picked him up! Which is what a healthy piglet would do. Thank you so much everyone for all the help and support for myself and Buddy! And thank you so much to every who helped with his medical bills. Y’all are what help me to be able to keep this up and give these pigs a loving home and a good life!
