Colony feeders...

Please stop leaving wet food in these freezing temps unless you know there are cats around or will be in the next 20min. We are pulling up to stops and finding cats licking frozen cat food and it’s heartbreaking. Wet food is easier for them to digest in the winter and helps them conserve energy but if you don’t see them please leave dry food.

Did you know that Abraham Lincoln was a crazy cat man?
He adored cats, especially kittens. Shortly after arriving in DC, Lincoln was gifted two kittens by a cabinet member. The president named them Tabby (pictured) and Dixie.
During one formal White House dinner, he fed Tabby from the table with a gold fork - much to the disapproval of his wife. 😹
He was once heard exclaiming, "Dixie is smarter than my whole cabinet! And furthermore, she doesn't talk back!" 😻
