Finally some warmer temps but they say we could be in for another cold blast in a couple weeks. Are your blankets disgusting like mine, send them to us for a quick winter refresh.
I have to head north sometime this week and will stop into Masts if anyone wants to drop their blankets off. Have them there by Thursday morning; depending on the amount of work/repairs needed, we'll have them ready in a week for return.
For the fastest service bring your blankets to the shop or Coastal Equine in Georgetown.

Wishing all our customers and friends a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

The shop will be closed for the Holidays and reopening Monday Jan 6th. You are still welcome to drop blankets off at the shop during this time.

Our local pick up routes have now been suspended until March. We ask that you please bring your blankets directly the shop in Seaford or Coastal Equine & Livestock Supply in Georgetown.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday! We have a few shop updates now that we are into the "off-season".

❄️The shop hours are by appointment only. You are still welcome to drop off blankets at any time in the bin in front of the garage.
❄️I am still picking up from our local drop-off locations but only as needed. Please let me know if you are dropping at any of our locations before doing so I can plan pick-up.
❄️After Dec 20th we will suspend the pick-up route until March. You are still welcome to drop off at Coastal Equine & Livestock Supply throughout the winter and of course the shop.
❄️Winter is the time to send us your fly sheets and any blankets needing custom repairs, including v front conversions, adding hardware for liners, etc...We can also do your year-end horse show laundry - send us all those saddle pads, towels, wraps, etc...for more information please contact us.

Shop updates!
Our regular shop hours are Monday - Thursday 10 - 4. After hours, Friday & the weekends are by appointment only. You can still drop off blankets anytime at the shop, and leave them in the bin if it's after hours.

The shop will be closed tomorrow 10/1. I'll be on the road to return blankets to Happy Appy.

The shop will also be closed from Thursday 10/3 at 4pm till Monday 10/7 10 am.

We will be at Coastal Equine & Livestock Supply Thurday evening for the Horseware Happy Hour - anyone who brings us blankets at the event will get shop wash prices for their blankets.

Turnaround time: All blankets are done in the order they come to the shop regardless of how many. Right now we are at a 3 to 4-week turnaround this includes any blankets that were dropped off/picked up last week and any that are coming in the next couple weeks. Please don't call the day after you drop off your blankets to ask if they are done. We put several warnings out over the summer to not wait till the temps start to drop to bring your blankets to us as everyone brings their blankets in now. So please be patient. Thank you :)

Our friends at Coastal Equine & Livestock Supply are hosting a Horseware Happy Hour at their store on October 3rd at 6:30pm. RSVP to attend 302-233-4301
We will be on-site and will be offering a one-time discount for anyone who drops off blankets that evening. Instead of paying the drop-off location wash price we will be discounting it down to our regular shop drop-off price. Take advantage and get those blankets cleaned and repaired before the cooler weather gets here for good. All blankets still need to be bagged up with labels on the outside and the filled-out blanket form with your blankets.

We are back on the road on Thursday, Sept 26th, on our regular route. First stop at Masts not before 10. If you haven't already dig out those blankets and get them to one of our drop-off locations before the temps really drop.

Have a larger quantity of blankets that still need washing, contact us for a barn pick up or bring them directly to the shop for the best savings!

Back on the road Thursday 9/12 for our regular route stopping at our Centreville and Easton stops.
At this time we will not be stopping at Masts, we stopped in there last week on our way back from Northern MD, if you have dropped there since last Wednesday afternoon or plan to before Thursday please let me know so I can add it back to the route!

All Creatures and Pam An's are still drop-off locations but please let us know if you plan to drop there so we can plan for pick-up.

Coastal Equine & Livestock Supply is the only drop-off location we pick up from weekly!

Don't forget we'll be in Elkton picking up blankets from Happy Appy Acres tomorrow 9/4, get yours there before 12pm. Return trip will be the end of the month/beginning of October.

We will be up in Elkton to Happy Appy Acres dropping off and picking up blankets on Sept 4th. Please get your blankets there before the 4th with all paperwork filled out. We plan to have whatever is picked up on the 4th completed and returned by the beginning of October. We will not be back up there until next spring. Please feel free to call or message with any questions.

A common repair we find on many blankets. What causes it? Mice!! This is why it's so important to not leave your blankets sitting in a pile in the barn all summer. Mice will get into your blankets and they love to chew through the liner, batting and even the outer fabric. There have even been cases where we have found dead mice stuck inside the liner.
