We are so lucky to call you our friend!!
Not only does Norah help run the rescue(EARS), but she advocates diligently for so many furries in need. She knows how much is spent for medical needs at our shelter, so for her birthday this year she helped raise $3000 through her birthday fundraisers!!! Best of all, Norah and friends came to volunteer!!

FYI…DON’T feed ducks bread!!! People mean well feeding ducks and other fowl bread, but it’s detrimental to their health. The video suggests frozen peas & carrots. You may also feed cracked corn, scratch or fowl food, which can be purchased at Tractor Supply or other feed stores.

Spanky is finally back from the clinic due to complications with neuter. He was with our vet for 2 weeks!! A “mostly quiet” afternoon on Friday, after everyone had been out for potty breaks and ready to rest. A couple of doggies adopted on Saturday(Rusty & Twinkle), but all others are still waiting for their happy-ever-after.

Not everyone found a new home today, but every pawsome furry enjoyed their time in the sun and meeting new people.❤️🐾

Just an update on current shelter kids who need loving, responsible, forever homes!! If you meet that criteria, we’d love for you to come adopt!! As you can see in the video we remain full, and need room for the inevitable next furry guests.

A cold 🥶 Sunday afternoon, but they got blankets and beds, and all got lots of treats. We know our 5 outside dogs are warm and comfy in boarding with our vet, 4 foster dogs toasty in their foster homes. Shelter is closed Monday for the MLK holiday, back to normal adoption hours on Tuesday, 1-5:30. Come adopt, our doggies need you!!❤️🐾🐾

WE NEED ADOPTIONS!! Shelter open Saturday & Sunday, 11-3. Friday afternoon, lots more newbies, and we have the 5 outside dogs in boarding for the freezing weather ahead, and 3 in foster care. Come adopt this weekend!!

❤️Everyone is excited and chatty this Sunday afternoon!! Please consider adopting. We have the 5 dogs who were in outside kennels in boarding, coming back on Tuesday. However, we have another cold snap coming again after next weekend. We really need adoptions so we don’t have to take dogs back to boarding next weekend!! Besides, all these doggies deserve a warm loving home to share with a new family!! Looking forward to the new shelter being finished in the spring, no more outside kennels!!🥳🐾🐾
