October 27 is the day when pets are believed to return from the afterlife to visit their former homes in a Mexican tradition called Día de los Mu***os. During this holiday, people honor their deceased pets and family members with altars called ofrendas.

According to mexican tradition, on the night of October 27 that the souls of pets visit their homes ofrenda for Day of the Dead.

Over the past four months, our Pet Food & Supply Pantry has distributed over 10,000 pounds of pet food EVERY MONTH to keep thousands of local pets healthy and in their homes. But now, our shelves are running low, and we need your help to keep up with the growing demand!
