Hello everyone! I’ve been working on my taxes and I’m almost done. I hired a independent contractor last year for the first time and I am wondering what forms I need to use and what the process is. From what I understand, I need to send a W-9 to the contractor and fill out a 1099 NEC on my end. Is that correct? Is anyone familiar with this process? Thank you 😊
