We're excited to announce that we're now offering grooming services at the Seattle Canine Club!

Our full grooming package includes a bath and brush, a gentle blowout, a stylish full-body cut, ear cleaning, and teeth cleaning. Prices start at $80 for small breeds and $120 for larger breeds. Please note that prices may vary based on your dog’s size, coat condition, and temperament.

If your pup needs a quick touch-up, you can opt for our partial grooming services. Whether it’s a paw trim, a face trim, or focusing on the sanitary areas, we’ve got you covered.

Ginger's Pet Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, one of the largest non-profit pet rescue organizations in Washington state specializing in saving death row dogs. In the 14 years they've been around they've helped over 18,000 dogs find their forever homes!

Our Puppy Socialization Group Class is designed to provide young puppies with a positive and enriching environment where they can learn important socialization skills and build a solid foundation for a well-rounded adult dog.

Led by our experienced trainers, this class offers a fun and interactive setting for your puppy to meet and interact with other puppies, people, and new environments.

During the Puppy Socialization Group Class, your puppy will learn social skills and social routines that will prepare them for the future. This includes supervised play moments with other puppies, strengthening the dog-human bond in new situations, and encouragement towards polite social manners.

Play moments with other puppies will allow them to learn and practice crucial social skills such as appropriate play behavior, dog communication, and bite inhibition. Puppies will be encouraged to also learn when to take a break and relax.

They will learn it’s fun to play but they will also learn it can be fun and rewarding to not play all the time. Our trainers will guide and facilitate these interactions, ensuring a positive and harmonious environment for all participants.

Skills level group training offers a few advantages such as:

✔️ Students learn at their own pace
✔️ You get the fun of group classes and the progress of 1:1 classes
✔️ Flexibility - you get to decide how far you want your dog to progress

We offer the following 4 levels of classes:

1️⃣ Focus Foundations: We will introduce and work on sit, down, stationary attention, and name focus.
2️⃣ Useful Manners: Leash skills, come & stay, and problem solving unwanted behaviors such as digging, barking, and chewing
3️⃣ Durations & Distractions: As the name suggests, more distractions and longer durations are added to the already learned skills
4️⃣ Advanced Skills: polishing the come cue and teaching an emergency come, strengthening the stay cue by teaching the dog to stay for longer periods of time at a greater distance, and more!

As a dog wrangler, you will enjoy a fun and positive work environment, although be prepared for a physically demanding role that requires multitasking, cleaning, and lifting dogs, food, and supplies. These four-legged companions will keep you on your toes and keep you active throughout the day!

Did you know that different dog breeds may have specific requirements or considerations when it comes to the ideal time to spay or neuter?

Neutering or spaying dogs offers numerous benefits, both for the individual dog and the canine community as a whole:

✅ It helps prevent unwanted litters
✅ Reduces the risk of certain health issues
✅ Can contribute to positive behavioral changes

Neutered or spayed dogs are less likely to:

🐾 Roam
🐾 Exhibit aggressive behavior
🐾 Develop reproductive-related health problems such as certain cancers and infections

At the Seattle Canine Club we usually suggest neutering or spaying at six months. However, we also understand that this might not the right timing for all dog breeds. If you'd like to discuss the case of your own dog, please get in touch!

Do you LOVE dogs? Come spend your day with them! We're hiring now!

Are you a dog lover? Would spending all day in a room full of playful dogs be a dream come true? Imagine being paid to play with a room full of friendly dogs!

We are a social club for dogs, providing daycare, playtime, and boarding for dogs of all sizes. We are located south of downtown Seattle. We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic dog handlers to join our team! Prior experience is a plus but we will train the right candidate. We offer a fun and positive environment, in a physically demanding job which requires multi-tasking, cleaning, and lifting of dogs, food, and other supplies. These dogs will keep you on your toes, and on your feet!

We currently have part-time positions (about 18-28 hours per week, occasionally more) available. Shifts may include weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

· Play, engage, and supervise large groups of dogs in an active, off-leash play environment
· Track and monitor behaviors, relationships, and health issues
· Maintain exemplary standards for dog safety and security
· Heavy cleaning, including picking up dog waste, mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping
· Feed dogs and administer medication
· Other duties as required to provide high-quality pet care in a team-oriented environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Energy and stamina in a physically demanding role
· Available to work weekends and holidays
· Ability to work with large groups of off-leash dogs, in a positive and humane manner
· Must have overwhelming love for dogs of all shapes and sizes
· Be patient and tolerant of loud environments (barking), dog waste, odor, and dog hair
· Be prompt, dependable, and responsible
· Have good interpersonal skills and confidence to worl well with teammates
