Join us TONIGHT at Highline College! Thurs, Nov 21 at 5:30pm — Protect Poverty Bay: a Community Workshop for Clean Water aims to promote sustainable behaviors to improve water quality in Poverty Bay. Streams flowing into Poverty Bay has been polluted from f***l coliform, aka “p**p pollution”, and we want to share this educational opportunity to learn about the water quality status, sampling results, impact of f***l pollution on marine life, and how we can reduce the f***l pollution impact in our daily actions at home.

Join us at Protect Poverty Bay Workshop!

When: November 21st, Thursday, 2024. 5:30-7pm
Where: Highline College, building 2 (2400 South 240th Street Des Moines, WA 98198)
Who: Any community members (family, neighbors, students, concerned citizens!)
What to expect:
1 hour of dense workshop, presented by local scientists and Public Health experts about water quality, marine life, public health tips!
30 minutes of interactive time with presenters
Free snacks, freebies for everyone!

Registration appreciated but walk-ins welcome.
