Meet Wednesday!! Wednesday is C H I L L !. If you are looking for a calm buddy, consider Wednesday. Wednesday came in on a 2 day transport of 40 dogs. As she got off the bus with about 10 dogs and quite a few cats, late at night, among the chaos of transport drops, all the other dogs were pulling on their leashes, barking, sniffing, peeing, etc. Wednesday walked with no fuss quietly near her new handler and after a quick stop, jumed into the backseat like"come on, let's go". Really unusual. She is sweet, well mannered and good on a leash. Wednesday would be better as an only pet.

Meet Vida!! VIDA NEEDS A HOME OF HER VERY OWN! VIDA means life! And this little girl is full of life and love to give! Vida is love and wants to be in your lap. She thinks she is a lap dog and loves attention and affection. She is sweet, playful and full of life. She is a 2yr old beautiful silver pitti girl who is 45lbs and UTD on shots. She is crate- trained and loves car rides. Because you can reareange her letters to also spell Diva, she may prefer to be the only fur baby because she loves all the attention. She does not like puppies but could do ok with larger pups with proper introduction, but generally recommended to be an only dog.. She loves kids and does well with them but sometimes forgets her size and can be rambunctious like a puppy. With love, patience and kindness, Vida will reward you with so much love and affection!

Foster or adopter needed.This gorgeous gsd/husky/rotweiler is Kyle. His foster adores him for his sweet cuddly nature but cannot keep him. He is sweet and loving . His foster has made great strides in training, especially in his leash walking, but he needs to continue his training and we are working on getting him neutered. Pictures do not show how handsome he is. This active friendly boy will be a lucky someone's perfect forever pet.

Urgent 🚨🚨🚨🚨 there is a man who was abandoned with nearly 40 cats. He has since left the property, but the cats remain there and are not being fed anymore. The property is not safe for them, and the cats are not fixed. Please help us by fostering! Due to the high volume of animals, we will be taking the most urgent (females, pregnant cats, and sick or injured) and we will get them fixed and/or any necessary medical attention asap. However, we can only take 5-10 at a time. If you can open your home for a few weeks, please please reach out! We can move cats quickly, but need places for them to go while we get their medical done ❤️

We do not know much about these cats currently. We know they are cat friendly due to living in a colony. Dogs are unknown. Health status is also unknown but we've been told they are in good health. Please plan on separating from resident animals for 14 days while we evaluate and treat for anything, as needed.

Cats will have their first fvrcp vaccine and dose of dewormer upon placement!

Kenzo was out of time and set to die when Paws and Claws from Pasco WA stepped in. They could not let this wonderful boy down like others in his past. They took a leap of faith and saved him but now need a foster or adopter willing to give him refuge. Kenzo is a GOOD BOY! This beautiful guy is listed as a 2-year-old German Shepherd Dog. Kenzo is very well mannered and attentive to his handler. ⭐️ 📝Kenzo has great staff notes; “I am the sweetest boy, please ask to meet me! I love affection, I'm easy to leash and walk. I am treat motivated and will do just about anything for that cookie!” 🐕Kenzo tested well with other dogs

Ace has been with a foster for some time but due to circumstances beyond her control, she can no.longer keep him. Ace is a great dog who deserves a new foster or forever home. .

Ace found himself dumped alone in a high kill shelter in CA. It was clear that he had suffered an injury to his leg that no one bothered to attend to and as such he suffers from arthritis at his young age. However, it does not affect his sunny and friendly disposition! Ace was a favorite at the shelter, being described as: Calm demeanor. Gentle disposition. While other dogs approached the fence to greet him, he showed little interest, preferring instead to stay contentedly in his own space. When he came to me, he asked for pets and then rested his head on my knees.” Ace is loved by many shelter volunteers, please see their beautiful video of Ace. He LOVES PEOPLE. Meet Kyle!! Kyle is a handsome young boy who is just looking to meet everyone. He looks like our dog Joker's little twin. He is a great dog that will be best with an active person willing to train. Kyle (Ky) is still excitable but will be an adorable greeter when you get home! He wants to play, lick, cuddle and bond! Ky loves people! He greatly enjoys other dogs but plays a little rough so, he should be with similar sized dogs. House Trained:Yes, no accidents and can sleep through the night without being disruptive or needing to go out. He can also be left for a short time and comfortable in a crate if needed Compatibility with other pets: cats unknown but would greatly benefit from another dog(s). Would be great for a multi-dog home or family home with a yard! He is also very smart and learns quick!! He still has some separation anxiety as he is used to being around a lot of dogs (from time in the shelter).

Kanga and Almond looking for an adopter or foster ASAP. These 2 adorable pups would love to find a new home. They are bundles of love and kisses. They are Chihuahua mixes and the black one (Kanga) is very small. They are great with kids, people and dogs!

Kanga, like a kangaroo because she hops when she runs, is the smallest and a little shy but oh so cute. 4.2lbs

KIKO
Meet Kiko!! Kiko is drop dead gorgeous 2yr old German Shepherd mix. Kiko is a smallish dainty dog at only 38 pounds. She is eager to meet other dogs and people. She is not a rough player though and is better with calmer dogs. Kiko would be greate in a quieter home with gentler dog playmates and patient fosters willing to help with training. To meet her is to love her!!

KELSEY

2 yr old Kelsey is a smart cookie! She would really benefit with someone who could spend some time training her, she is a quick learner! Kelsey loves walks, and is getting better at her leash manners everyday. Kelsey is active and loves to chase toys, just doesn’t necessarily want to bring them back. She gets very excited to meet all humans and animals and hasn’t learned yet that not everyone wants a jumping greeting. Would probably be better in a family with kids that are a bit older. Also any fenced yards should be a tall fence, cause this girl knows how to jump.

Petey needs a home 💔 his owners needed to rehome him and offered to foster for us until December. In December, they were supposed to take him back. But his owners adopted a new dog and don't want Petey anymore 💔 they love him, but Petey needs a house with a yard and with a submissive dog in the home. He is a dominant male and doesn't mesh well with my own dogs or I'd be happy to have such a gem added to my home. He is fixed, vaccinated, and chipped.

Petey struggles when meeting men. He growls but once he gets to know you, he won't stop loving you. He is such a sweet boy. Great with kids and other dogs. Cats are unknown but can be tested upon request. He is best for a homebody who has a little less chaos.

If you can foster him, even short term, please reach out! He could use some extra exercise and mental stimulation in his life. He is currently living in our office. We run him daily, but he needs more freedom. He is a great dog who deserves so much! He doesn't chew, doesn't mark, and just wants to cuddle!

WE’VE GOT PUPPIES!

Which means we are in need of puppy fosters!

We have been asked to step in and help out a single mother who currently has four adult dogs who are unaltered. We will be working to get these dogs spayed/neutered to stop this cycle! But for now we are taking in the puppies to find them good loving homes. There are currently six females. They will be on the small/medium side of things. Said to be pug/terrier/pit mixes. Meet Lady! Lady was found as a heavily pregnant stray. Shortly after rescue she gave birth. Some of the puppies had major congenital issues & did not make it, but the survivors have made it into their forever homes. Now it’s lady’s turn! She is around 4 years of age & soon to be spayed. She is a really loving girl who could totally handle a big family full of chaos as she’s so chill & sweet & just eats up all the attention. Won’t You Please Come Play with Me?

My name is Missy. I am about 4 ½ years old. I love to play. Everyone tells my foster mom that their dogs don’t usually play with other dogs at the dog park, but they play with me. I have learned to sit, heel and wait. I love to play training games. I like to put my head on my foster mom’s shoulder when she drives. I wag my tail really hard when I see my people, but I don’t jump. I’ve learned people don’t like that. I like to give kisses. I get excited when my foster mom puts on her outside feet. I like to crawl under her legs. She tells me I make it harder for her to put on her feet, but I don’t care. I’m excited and ready to go explore the world. I would really like to have a playmate. I am an active dog. I don’t like cats so no cats please. If you would like to meet me, I would love to meet you!

Yakima, Moses Lake, Pasco, Richland, Kennewick. These cities house some cruel cruel people. I've seen kittens who have ingested m**h, eyes popping out of their sockets, paralyzed cats who have been hit by cars, kittens left in boxes in 100+ degree weather and their dead sibling in the box with them, and so so much more.

These areas have low educational levels and low income levels in comparison to the West side. People don't realize that letting their unfixed cat outside is causing these animals to be tortured. It's an epidemic. Without money, we can't get spay and neuter appointments to help fix these situations.

Tonight, one of our fosters in Yakima contacted us because she was notified of three kittens sitting in a carrier since Friday. The weather has been over 90 degrees all weekend. These kittens were baking to death. Two kittens succumbed to their injuries shortly after she took them in, but one is still alive and doing okay.

If you say you can't foster because it's too sad to see them go, please think about these situations and see if it's still too sad.

If you can't foster, please volunteer your time or donate. All of us rescues can use it right now. We need a change. We're all burnt out. We do it for the animals but we leave it because of the people. People are ruthless, no matter how hard you work to make a change in their lives 💔

Please foster. We can save so many cats and kittens from this same fate just by having a few fosters who can medicate animals and provide basic care.
