Adoptiversary Update! Okra is thriving in her forever home and has bonded beautifully with her new bunny sibling, Serrano! Together, these two are a dynamic duo—mischievous, curious, and full of energy. Their family shares that it’s not uncommon to come home and find everything in their living space charmingly rearranged.
While we’re thrilled to celebrate Okra’s happy tail, Emerald City Pet Rescue is no longer running a critter adoption program. We’re grateful for all the love and support given to our small animal rescues in the past!

Meet Kaylee, the sweetest 10-year-old Beagle mix with a big heart and an even bigger appetite! Kaylee firmly believes her life’s purpose is to savor every treat and meal that comes her way.

This lovely lady is a foodie at heart but also has a great balance of easygoing energy—perfect for walks and snuggles alike. She adores people, gets along well with dogs her size, and would likely do just fine with cats.

Kaylee does have a few manageable medical conditions, but she takes her medications like a pro. Because of these, she’s looking for a special home as a permanent foster where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by love (and maybe a few extra snacks). 🌟 Foster Opportunity: Meet Frankie! 🌟

Frankie is a 6-month-old terrier puppy who’s as sweet as he is energetic! This lovable boy absolutely adores people and is looking for a foster home where he can thrive while awaiting his next steps in care.Frankie recently had surgery to repair a congenital condition and is recovering beautifully. He’ll need a recheck with a cardiologist in February, and after that, he’ll be cleared for his neuter surgery and then adoption. But for now, Frankie can only be in a home with male dogs or spayed females.

Founded by Vivian Goldbloom in 2013, Emerald City Pet Rescue exists to rescue abused, neglected, and homeless animals from high-volume shelters around the country and place them into loving and forever homes.

We are a 501c3 non-profit foundation animal rescue based out of Seattle, Washington.

We pride ourselves on providing the best medical care possible for our rescued animals and rehabilitating hard-to-adopt animals to help them increase their chances of finding loving homes.
