The animals started coming before we opened for business 🐐~ after demo came framing of the exam and treatment rooms. Then, Baby 👶🏻 June entered the picture… I thought 💭 - if anyone could grow a business and a baby at the same time, it’s me.

Perhaps I share this story as a cautionary tale, to learn from my mistakes in business, medicine, motherhood.

It started with a vision: old time apothecary. Before the clinic ~ this commercial space at Haddon Hall was a hair salon called Halo. I chose it for the high ceilings, central location and affordable rent… first step in building the clinic - demolition of the hair salon.

2015: the ceiling leaks started around the same time the ink ✍️ dried on the lease with ~ foreshadowing the next 6 years of ceiling leaks.
