🐶 Meet Murphy: This adorable little guy spent months fending for himself on the streets of Yakima, but now he’s a snuggly, happy pup who loves nothing more than cozy movie nights on the couch—especially with a tasty treat in hand! Murph is food-motivated, gets along well with other dogs, and is slowly building trust with his foster family. With a little patience and love, Murph could be the perfect addition to your home!

🌟 Meet Marni: Marni is an energetic and playful Bloodhound-Lab mix with a big heart! At just about a year old and weighing 70-75 lbs, she loves to play, cuddle, and give affection. Marni gets along great with both people and other dogs. She’d thrive in an active family with a yard where she can run, play, and enjoy all the love and attention she deserves!

🐾 Meet Aggie: Aggie’s journey hasn’t been easy, but this sweet girl is ready to show the world her brave and loving side. After spending time in less-than-ideal conditions, Aggie is learning to trust and connect. She may be shy at first, but she’ll nudge your clothes or give a quick kiss when she feels brave. Born with deformed back legs, Aggie doesn’t let it slow her down—she runs, plays, and zoomies around pain-free! She’s an affectionate, joyful girl who loves playing with dogs of all sizes.

🎉🐾 Happy 18th Birthday, Raylan! 🎉🐾

We recently celebrated a milestone for one of our most beloved senior dogs, Raylan. He has been with us for a while and continues to bring joy and inspiration to everyone he meets.

At 18 years young, Raylan is still keeping up with the young pups in the park, though he loves taking long naps in cozy beds just as much. In between, he’s known to enjoy binge-watching cartoons at our Senior Center.

Fun fact: Raylan used to be a big park dog, and even now, he’s one of our oldest but healthiest seniors! He’s truly a testament to the love and care that senior dogs deserve.

Let’s wish Raylan a tail-wagging birthday filled with treats, snuggles, and lots of love! 🎂🐕💜

Jordan is a Night Owl and has been at DDL for over a year. What he enjoys the most about working with us is the flexibility the job provides and caring for so many wonderful dogs.

In his spare time, he enjoys watching college football and UFC fights, playing video games, listening to music, taking his dog to the beach, and traveling. He's fairly new to Washington, so he also likes taking road trips to different places around the state.

Thanks for all you do, Jordan. The pups and we appreciate it!
