If you are traveling to Canada or Mexico and are used to "just" needing a vaccine certificate be aware rules for traveling with a dog are changing on Aug 1st.

Starting on August 1, 2024, dogs entering or returning to the United States must meet new, specific requirements depending on where they have been in the 6 months before entering the U.S. and where they received their rabies vaccines (if required).

It's National Flag Day....Did you know a new American flag, created in colors visible to dogs, was introduced in honor of the more than 30,000 dogs who have served in the United States military since 1942. It is believed that dogs do not see the color red, so a yellow, white and blue striped flag has been created and was raised at the National WWI Museum and Memorial in Kansas City, commemorating the service and sacrifices of these American military and working dogs.

Pet Care Center wants to bid a heartfelt goodbye to Nicole. Nicole is moving on but is still going to be in the vet industry. We will miss her and her little buddy Kiko. We wish her the best and know that this will be a wonderful opportunity for her, our loss is their gain.
