The most enormous cat appeared at the end of the hall, her paws landing silently as she quickens her pace toward the party in front of her. Closing the gap quickly she reaches the hero’s and lays down in front of them. Reaching a paw out she gently paws the person closest to her and meows at her. She looks hungry….

A huge thank you to Catio Spaces! We are so happy and almost never come inside now. Mom has to call us in when it is getting dark. The squirrels, the birds, catching the rain, chasing a cat out of the yard! It’s been a busy day!

He came to us by way of the Seattle Humane Society with the name of Peanut. We called him Monsieur Bun Bun. We called him The Buninator, Bunacle, Mr Bun, Bun Bun, Love Biscuit, As***le, The Great Charger Destroyer! We called him and most of the time he wouldn’t come. He was ornery, stubborn, everything had to be his way, he loved cats, he was sweet, and he was loving when he wanted to be. In the morning he would follow me around until I gave him his morning treat. He was my Bun for 12 years, and last night I had to kiss him goodbye for the last time.

What would have been a quick vet trip for me ended up being much longer. While I was at the vet, my mom ran to the store and saw an injured bird on the side of the road. She called my doctor and they directed her to PAWS - Progressive Animal Welfare Society. She quickly scooped up the bird and headed back to the vet to get me. The vet said they would hold on to me but they wanted to triage the seagull. Thankfully, they see birds too! Evergreen Avian & Exotic Animal Hospital is the best! A quick trip to Lynnwood in a hail storm and the seagull is safe in the hands of the wonderful people at Paws! Please visit their website and donate if you can! 🐰💜
