At the end of 2023 we had to start our page all over again and rebuild. We just reached 1,000 followers! Thank you!

We get so many questions about how we do what we do in such a tight space. Here's a little backroom behind the scenes at our Thriftique!

🐦Our donation sorting room is where all the thrift magic happens! We spend each day receiving your treasures in our roughly 100 square foot workroom and turning them into financial assistance for the animals in our shelter.
🐇When you drop off boxes or bags of donations our goal is to process them on the spot and get them out to our salesfloor as soon as possible. That way we can immediately make room for the next car full of treasures!
We sort, clean, price, and display them in lightning speed!
🐕When our donation receiving department closes for the day we spend that time getting ready to do it all over again tomorrow. We aim to have almost every item out and available for purchase daily by the time we close. (Except the clothing that is donated. That usually takes us a couple days to process completely.)
🐈Our team are the experts at fitting in all your treasures and do our very best to take absolutely everything that we can. Don't let our size fool you! Remember...she may be small but she is mighty and the animals are counting on us!

In a world where technology is changing so rapidly, it's hard to know what items can be donated and what should be recycled. Our Thriftique accepts donations of a variety of your electronics and small appliances.

Home decor is such a personal thing. We spend a lifetime filling our spaces with things we love.

We hear it all the time at the thrift store...no one wants my china, my quilts, my dust-collectors, etc. However, that's simply not the case.

There's always someone out there who finds joy and comfort in the very same style of decorating as you do. Those people hunt for the same treasures you know and love yourself.

For example, the grandmacore aesthetic of home decor is a cozy, nostalgic style that celebrates vintage and handmade items. It's inspired by the home of a grandma, and features a mix of patterns, colors, and textures that create a warm, inviting space.

The thrift store is the perfect place to seek out grandmacore pieces. Not only is secondhand shopping an adventure but it's also sustainable and often supports a good cause in the community. In our case, all our sales support the animals of H.A.L.O. No-Kill Rescue. 🧡
