When we got the call to consign a female to this special sale we knew we had to offer one of our best to change hands. She is known around here as “The laird sow” she was 6th overall crossbred gilt at the 2022 AZ nationals shown by the Melsness Family. We got a call from KJ said this is one we need to own, she will make you guys some me very good pigs. Indeed she has in her young life so far. Her first litter sired by power play she had 2024 CA state fair grand Champion Market barrow (pictured), 2024 Grand Champion 4H market Hog Healdsburg County Fair (pictured) as well as a 4500 dollar gilt that sold to the Bliss family farms. Her second litter sired by Moneys on were born late April. This will be her 3rd parity and possibly her best yet sired by the very popular Buckle up boar at PBG. Offering a Young proven sow that can hit the ground running.
