At Old World Rabbitry we are specializing in rare heritage breeds of rabbits. Americans are a great choice they are top on the list for being rare.

They have a mandolin body style with good meat distribution. When they have reached 10 weeks of age they are weighing around 2-3 pounds dressed perfect fryers. Giant Chinchillas are rated in the top 5 of being a rare breed. There size and shape make them a good rabbit for meat production. At 10 weeks they weigh 3-6 pounds dressed.
