It has been a CRAZY week here! Zephrah was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon due to a prolapse. She was scheduled to have a C-section yesterday. Unfortunately, she had to be spayed during this process due to the damage caused by the prolapse. However, her and babies are doing great! She has 6 healthy, happy smoke babies! 5 of which are poly babies!! There were bumps yesterday but with the day coming to a close we have nursing healthy babies and a recovering mama so I couldn't be more greatful ❤️❤️❤️

UPDATE:
Momma doesn't seem to be feeling super great and has decided she doesn't want to lay with her babies much if at all 😞 it has been a very long night feeding 6 babies and warming their fluids bag to stay warm. I'm hoping momma will start to feel better really soon as she is WAY better at this than I am. She seems to be having some difficulty urinating (she is able to pee just not a whole lot at a time), she vomited up the wet food she ate, and doesn't seem interested in eating wet or dry at this point. I will be reaching out to my vet this morning but otherwise am keeping an eye on her and doing fluids.

UPDATE #2:
I need prayers! Zephrah took a turn and is not doing well. We are currently on our way to the emergency vet. Please pray and/or send good vibes, she needs the support of this entire group!

Half of the cats went to the vet yesterday for their Health Exam, Felv/Fiv snap tests, and kidney ultrasounds. All have received clean bills of health for this breeding season except one, her results are pending ofa's evaluation of her hip x-rays. The second half go this Monday so I will update everyone soon 😊

UPDATE: I attached the results I have for the four girls that have them so far.

I get asked a lot what kind of brush to use on Maine Coons. So I thought I'd share my favorite. It's important to get the undercoat and brush in sections to ensure you get all the tangles. I could maybe do a tutorial if you guys want?
