Some of the pictures we got this week.. sorry about not posting for a while. We are still open!! We just don't get to take pictures as often since we've been busier and trying to keep up with the website/ social media side of the business has been a task. We're not perfect, but we try to keep up with everyone. So please understand that there's only one of us usually answering the phone and checking the online sites and since we're usually just used to the normal phone, it's been a task but it's worth it. We still love all of our fur-babies. Thank you for being a customer for those of you've been there for a since the beginning and thank you to all you new people who showed us all the love lately!

We take our time with these pets, so they feel comfortable and not scared to come back to the groomer and we appreciate your patience with us and understanding

We will be closed today Friday the 27th and next Tuesday October 31st due to doctor's appointments! Yes, everything's fine. We're both ok just Jessie had some dental appointments we have to work around. But we'll be back in the morning after each day!

We are still open!! We're sorry if you called and we haven't called you back or if we missed your message on Facebook. We got our card machines up and running, plus we have a new scheduling system through koalaender (Yes that's a real name.) They work with Google, so just trying to make sure we keep up with everything and sometimes we miss some things.
We do try to get back to the voicemails and Facebook messages as soon as possible.

Debbie's still getting used to using all the new technology stuff lol, plus we've also been doing home renovations the last few weeks so we've been behind on quite a few things unfortunately, but we are getting caught up on our home renovations and we should be in full force back to the businesses here soon. Usually here soon and once we get used to the new card reader system and new calendar system it won't be quite as hard on us!

It's flea season guys every year in Florida about twice a year when the weather switches up on us. Fleas like to attack.

If a customer goes home with fleas, we apologize greatly. We can't always keep the fleas off of dogs when other customers come in with them, because of the fact that we are in a very small shop. We do spray our entire yard and we spray the inside of our home and the shop all the time which cost quite a bit but it's important to us.

We do try to accommodate and offer a free flea dip and to re-groom the dog if necessary and they do go home with fleas and they didn't have them before. So we really hate to lose customers over something so simple that happens on an everyday basis.

Moral of the story please just be very understanding with us. We know that things happen and you all know too.
We do offer FREE baths and dips in Dawn so it's chemical free!

It's been a while since we posted. Sorry we've been catching up on life. With a 2-year-old running the house and a new home business things get kind of hectic. But this week we started doing our photos again. We may not be able to give them to you personally but we have been able to text or email them to the customers which is very good for us. We enjoy doing the photos for the customers. And what a perfect week to start right before Christmas!

We love all our fur baby customers and we enjoy having you all. Thank you for choosing Debbie doggie Spa and we can't wait to see you again!

We're sorry we haven't been returning your calls as soon as we usually do. Our phones have been having some technical issues recently. We switched over from a home line to a mobile phone so we can text customers as well as get the phone calls when we are not in the shop.

The phone is officially fully transferred over. It has the same shop number 863-658-5091. We are still open. We're sorry if you've been having trouble reaching us, we're so glad that these issues are resolved. We hope we didn't lose any for a baby customers due to this. We've been dealing with Comcast for over a month now!!

We always hate to lose Fur-babies around here.
We Hate Posting these kind of updates its always an emotional time. We will miss you Candy, Cocoa, Shu Shu, and Lexi. Candy was with us for a long time she always told us how she felt! Cocoa got a little grumpy sometimes but who doesnt with age? Right! Shu Shu was another pup who liked to talk the whole time even during bath time! Last but not least Lexi was younger than the others and was such a sweet girl, She knew where she was when she came here and always ran right up to me to say high then right up to my daughter who she knew was about to give her a bath! Each pup unique ones we definitely wont forget! g to get these done, but its been a busy couple of months around our Home/Business! A lot of updating and changes have been happening. Although they may not be our own animals but we care about them like they are, thats why we take more time with those less patient dogs, and we dont try to rush the animals especially the nervous ones or newcomer. This is what makes us different than the rest!

Our hearts here at Debbies Doggie Spa goes out to those families that just lost a fur-baby recently and want you to know we will miss them and that they will always be remembered!

We are open until Christmas. Christmas Eve we will be open from 8 AM- 3 PM. Were even open Sundays!! Yes Sunday from 8 AM- 3 PM every week!

This way everyone can try to get themselves and their fur-babies all prettied up before visiting with your family's for the holidays. We know its been a rough year but even the babies deserve a Spa Day for the Holiday!

This is to show everyone just how far our little shop has come! We went from a shell of a room, to a complete grooming shop with dryers and all.

We understand that sometimes when a new customer comes in they may be taken back by the fact that there are still minor repairs going on in the evenings, after work. Now you can actually see where we started from to get a good idea of how far we've come in just a few short weeks.
My other half & my daughter have been a major help, I couldn't do all the work they accomplish by themselves. My other half is the reason we went from running on extension cords from around the house to being on our own breaker system. He also built the bones to the business, quite literally we were a screened porch before these renovations began. He and a friend are also the ones who gave me real windows out here. My daughter is credited for the indoor paneling and making it look presentable on the inside as far as the walls and skin to the business & for making my signage for the shop. She is also responsible for helping me keep up the websites and photos I just don't catch onto all of that like her.
there are definitely still some changes going on but on a much smaller scale compared to when we started. I am thankful to all of my customers who have been so kind and patient with us. It may not be moving as fast as wed like it sometimes but we take it 1 Day at a time!

From the Ground Up

As some of you know I have been grooming for over twenty years. I started out in my sisters shop when I moved to Sebring, Fl from Vermont, then she closed her shop and we moved to a friend’s shop. When the virus hit the U.S she closed shop for almost two months, so after a lot of thought and discussion between me and my other half we decided to open up my own dog shop right at home. We had the extra space we just had to do some major work on it.

We have been working nonstop since April of 2020 and its getting better day by day. I know it doesn’t look like much, but if you see where it started and how far we’ve come its awesome. I am the only groomer at my location and my daughter Jessica washes the fur-babies for me. She is also doing most of the major repairs to the shop while my better half did the bones of the shop so to speak. I am so grateful for the people in my life that have helped me through this process I couldn’t do it without them.

Some of my customers have come with me to my new location and thanks to Facebook advertisements we’ve found quite a few new customers we hope to see again too! We are still steadily working on the shop, but I was always raised take it a day at a time. I hope everyone understands that because I was in a bind and low on income my shop was not brand new and perfect but in time we will get there. The way I see it I get to make it my own in every type of way!
