Pawsibilities Are Endless is a tiny foster-based, all volunteer, non-emergency animal rescue located in Mid-Missouri.

Bonded sisters Hannah and Harleigh have been through a lot together and deserve the best home. They were found as strays living outside a woman's house and came to us very sickly. Their eyes were very infected and we feared they would each have to have at least one removed. After a lot of TLC, they have made wonderful recoveries and each have both of their eyes.

Harleigh is the chimera, or split-colored face, and Hannah is the regular tortie. Hannah is very friendly and outgoing; she loves to be petted and play. She is rather rambunctious, but having Harleigh there to play with her will help expel her energy. Hannah's right eye does appear cloudy from the horrible eye infection she had as a kitten but it doesn’t seem to bother her at all. Harleigh is Hannah’s complete opposite - she is very quiet, shy and reserved. She will need a much longer adjustment period to her new home and a little patience for her to come out of her shell. She has always been shy compared to Hannah but will adjust much easier with her sister by her side.

Hannah and Harleigh are both litter box trained, spayed, microchipped, flea treated and dewormed, fiv/felv negative, and current on age appropriate vaccines.

Mork is a sweet tuxedo kitten. He loves to make biscuits! His coat is so soft, just like his sister Mindy’s. He is very playful and cuddly. He can be a little hissy with new kitty friends, but after a proper introduction, he does warm up. After a couple days, he was playing with the other kitties in his foster home. He loves to nap & play with Mindy. Their favorite game is chase & tackle. They enjoy playing with springs together and he loves to carry & toss toy mice around. He will growl if another kitty comes close while he’s playing with his toys. Mork loves to cuddle on the couch with a human or on their lap wherever they are. He was around little children and did fine. He has not been around dogs but may do well with a kitty friendly dog.

Mork is litter lox trained, microchipped, dewormed, flea treated, neutered and has received his age-appropriate vaccines.

We can’t tell you how HAPPY we are to see Buddy find a home.
From his foster, Kelsey: “My foster kitty, Buddy got adopted tonight! We have had him in the rescue for almost a whole year. He was very sick in the beginning and was on medications for the first 5 months we had him. I knew he was going to be difficult to find a home for as he doesn't play nice with other kitties and despises dogs, but we stuck it out. Almost a whole year later and he found a perfect home for him, with a fellow Warrensburg alumni too. Adoptions after having them this long make all the hard work worth it. 💙”

Lilly had her eye removal surgery yesterday. She has one healthy eye, but two of her siblings are scheduled to have both underdeveloped eyes removed. One surgery down, two to go! ❤️

Our last request for help of 2024 - an update on our medical cases at the moment!

The kitties that looked like they have no eyes do indeed have very small, underdeveloped eyes that are hidden by their third eyelid. It’s called Micropthalmia and they are all three scheduled to have their eyes removed.

Molly went in to have her stitches out this morning and Dr. McNeal looked at her. Unfortunately the area missing skin is still not healing like it should. There are no signs of new healthy skin growing. She is going back in for one last surgery to see if he can get it to close up by suturing the healthy skin together. We don’t know why her skin is not healing the way it should, but hopefully he will be able to get it completely closed.

Update 6pm: He got it closed! ❤️

Mia is a gorgeous two-year-old kitty that has been through a lot in her short life. She was found a few months ago laying on the side of the road and was unable to move her back legs. Initially, she was thought to have a blood clot blocking blood supply to her back legs. After further diagnostic testing, she was found to have a broken pelvis. After a lot of crate rest and with the help of some anti-inflammatory medications, she has gained a lot of the movement back in her rear legs.

To help Mia live her best life, she will require a Solensia Injection monthly. This costs about $80 a month at Thompson Hills Animal Clinic, but may be more affordable elsewhere. Mia is a very sweet kitty, playful and was declawed by previous owners. She is not fond of other cats or dogs and will need to be in an only-pet home.

Mia is spayed, microchipped, litter box trained, current on her age appropriate vaccines, dewormed and flea treated.

You can meet Mia at the PetSmart condos through the end of the month - 10am-12pm and 4-6pm today!

Charlotte and Chicago have moved into the PetSmart condos to try and find a home together before the new year! They’re a little shy, but very lovable. Chicago (orange and white) may be a little hissy, but she is very sweet once you pick her up. Charlotte (calico) is shy too but much more outgoing!

Remember the kittens with abnormal eyes that were found behind a business? First we trapped two, then got called back for more of their siblings. We saw three and only caught two - leaving one behind. Surprisingly, we caught their mom while trying to catch the fifth kitten. And at last, the fifth kitten has been caught. All are safe and sound with Pawsibilities Are Endless. ❤️

This is Mia. She was found on Friday, 9/27 at Crown Hill Cemetery and couldn’t move her back legs. A volunteer took her to Thompson Hills Animal Clinic. She was diagnosed with possible saddle thrombus, which is a blood clot that blocks blood supply to the back legs. Fortunately, Mia was microchipped so we were able to track down her owners. The person the microchip was registered to had just rehomed Mia 3 weeks prior. She found out the new owners just left Mia outside, even though she is declawed and has only ever been an inside kitty. Dr. McNeal said the stress of being outside and getting scared most likely dislodged a blood clot from her heart. Mia is on anti inflammatory pain medication and a medication to hopefully dissolve the blood clot. Mia is a fighter and we are seeing some improvement in her being able to use her back legs, little by little. Please send all the happy thoughts and well wishes Mia’s way. ❤️

Matilda

Our professional biscuit maker, Matilda! (Maybe we should ask her to make some goodies for the bake sale tomorrow!) Matilda came from living the outside kitty life to loving the indoor kitty life. She's around 2 years old and had multiple litters of kittens living outside an older gentlemens house. He reached out to us, and we trapped her and took her to get fixed. Then we discovered she's as friendly as can be! We kept her and are now looking for her forever home where she can be indoors and safe. She's a sweet girl with a gorgeous long coat that was sadly matted pretty badly in a couple of spots, so we had to trim her up a little, but it will grow back. She is hissy with other cats, but we know she was around them previously, so we believe she would do fine with a proper introduction and time. Meet her TODAY at PetSmart 10-12 or TOMORROW 12-2!
