We require a quick adoption application on file to meet the animals in our care, so please fill one out beforehand if you plan to attend one of our events! We keep them on file for 6 months.

Meet Onyx 🖤

Onyx is a petite 4-year-old mix (only 36 lbs!) and she’s full of happy, upbeat energy.

She loves her stuffed toys (especially shaking them with enthusiasm), enjoys playing with people and other dogs, and brings a fun presence wherever she goes.

She’s a smart girl, too — Onyx already knows sit, is housebroken, and even knows how to use a doggie door. She’s great on walks, rides calmly in the car, and is respectful and easygoing at home. At night (and when her foster is away), she sleeps comfortably in her crate.

Onyx came to us from a high-kill shelter in Texas, and she’s been thriving in foster care. Unfortunately, she’ll be losing her foster home soon, as her foster will be traveling starting in January. We are urgently looking for a forever home or a new foster to keep her safe and loved.

Her foster says:
“Onyx is a really active, well-behaved dog, affectionate, housebroken, and crate trained. She plays like a puppy with my older dog and loves spending time in the yard.”

If you’re looking to adopt or foster a dog who’s affectionate, playful, and ready to be part of the family, Onyx might be your girl.

Granny Apple is coming up on 2 months of searching for her forever home. 💞🐶

Could it be with you?

Granny Apple is an incredibly smart and well-mannered puppy who’s already showing how special she is. She's cuddly, yet independent, and calm, yet playful.

Granny Apple gets along beautifully with other dogs and loves a little backyard playtime with her foster sibling. She loves spending time outside, playing in the yard, and she’s doing wonderfully with potty training. She also travels great in the car and has been a champ for baths and nail trims.

Our holiday wish is simple: we want every dog in attendance to go home with a family. No dog should spend the holidays without one.

We are in awe 🤩 Not only did we meet, but we exceeded our goal of $80k on Colorado Gives Day.

Our jaws were on the floor yesterday; our community showed up for us in a huge way! We are so, so grateful for all of you.
