Please let us know which competitions you plan on attending so that we can plan accordingly. At this point I have committment from more than enough gyms to make all three dates work... so know that we DO NOT plan on canceling unless there are HUGE changes in attendance. SO.... when you get this email just please reply with what teams / divisions and which dates you will be attending. This will help us trememdously with preparing awards and other details.
**Teams that attending multiple SFSC competitions will receive a $5 per Team competitor reg fee discount on 2nd Comp attended. For 3rd competition attended you will receive $10 off per Team competitor reg fee. Example you attend in Nov and pay normal fees ~ attend in Jan and pay $55 reg fee ~ also attend in March and pay $50 reg fee. You will also be eligible for numerous additional awards the more competitions you attend.

Photography / Video
Yes - you can take photos and video tape - however we will have a photographer set up taking action shots that you are more than welcome to view and purchase if you wish to.
Entrances:
There will be one entrances into the Mathewson Exhibition Center. It is on the south west side of the building,
Seating:
Spectators will be seated on the north side of the building. There is A LOT of seating in this venue J
Spotters:
Spotters will not be provided. You can provide your own spotters and no points will be taken off as long as no spotter helps the team in any way.
Bathrooms
There are plenty of restrooms located throughout the facility.
Practice Room:
Coaches will need to check their team / specialty competitor in to the practice area at the designated time. These times are noted on the schedule. You will check them in by taking the steps from the bleacher into the floor and going down the hallway to the West (right). Please only coaches and participants in the practice area. We want our competition to run on time but we will accommodate any team needing help with crossovers, injuries, etc. We want everyone to be able to warm-up.
Music:
Music should be on a ipod, mp3, or cell phone (make sure volume is up all the way and is on airplane mode) - no cassettes please. You may also have music on a CD.
Rules / Guidelines:
We will a have a printed copy of the rules available. If you have addt’l question please do not hesitate to contact Melissa.
Solo / Stunt / Jump / Tumbler Competition Guidelines:
Division sorted by same age brackets as cheer team divisions… see USASF.NET if you are unsure what division you should be in or ask Melissa J
* Cheerleader ~ no longer than 1 min 30 sec. Must include dance , jumps and tumbling. No limits on the skills or number of skills permitted. Can Be all Music or combination.
*Spirit Leader ~ same as Cheerleader however NO TUMBLING IS ALLOWED!
* Dance Soloist ~ no longer than 1 min 30 sec. Routines will be judged on ex*****on of skill, presentation and choreography. Dancers can chose any style of music.
* Best Jumper ~ Perform 3 best jumps. Can be consecutive or each with individual prep. ONLY jumps will be judged… there is no need to do tumbling. Must land on feet in between each jump.
* Best Tumbler ~ Two best running passes corner to corner and one standing front to back.
Stunt Group ~ no longer than 1 min 30 sec. Max of 5 people per group. Routines can include stunts, tumbling and dance. Be creative and have fun!
General Event Info:
The event coordinator reserves the right to add combine, delete or split divisions as well as to move teams to the appropriate divisions. We are not responsible for any unseen changes in your travel plans due to inclement weather or any other reason. In the event these changes prevent your group or any subset from attending, no refunds will be granted.
Waivers / Unpaid Fee’s:
When coaches check in - all waivers and any fee’s owed must be turned in before their team is allowed to compete. The check in table is by the hallway heading to the practice room (West side of floor).
Vendors / Concession
There will be a concession that serves various items such as Pizza, hot dogs, candy, pop, Gatorade etc. There will also be various vendors selling the event apparel, cheer apparel, jewelry, make-up etc.
