BIG THANK YOU!
With the holidays and weather causing us to close a couple of days, it has been a hectic couple of weeks.

DO NOT TRY TO COME IN! We have just received word that roads are worse than they were Monday, unfortunately, many of our staff live out of town and will not be able to make it in again. We are so very sorry for the inconvenience, but road conditions are dangerous and it is not safe for anyone to try to make it to the clinic today. Weather permitting, we should resume normal operation Monday. If you have an emergency, please contact the Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital of Wichita at (316) 262-5321. Preventatives measure can help to increase and better the lives of our pets! Bloodwork can help veterinarians diagnose and treat a wide range of health conditions in pets, including allergies, diabetes, parasites, liver disease, and renal failure. Bloodwork can also help monitor the progress of illnesses and can be part of a prevention program to catch diseases early.

New developments in patient care only happen because of our amazing fellow animal lovers like YOU! This past year due to an increase in productivity we were able to purchase a BAIR hugger! This helps us to keep our patients warm during post-surgical recovery, especially for our elderly patients. How it works: The main chamber creates warm air. It then flows through the tubing into a blanket that blows up like an air mattress. Continued warm air circulates through this blanket keeping the patient warm.
