I’ll be taking a step back from booking a lot of petting gigs/ long stents of days this summer unless it’s somewhere that Gertie is welcome to tag along.
** I had this beautiful Great Dane unexpectedly/unplanned come into my life in November. She will be a year old in May and loves other animals**
There is a lot going on in my personal life that is going to take a lot of my time, a lot of house projects to get done and quite simply I just need to take some time for myself and enjoy the summer.
That being said I can give you a few names of people that I would trust to provide care for your animals.
**There is a high need for people to administer insulin and medication to animals. Maybe if there is enough interest we can try to coordinate a training if people are interested in learning how to administer insulin and a pet CPR? (This is just a thought) ** I’ve had 4 calls/texts this past week.
This opens up an opportunity for those looking to get into pet sitting. Put your contact info at the vets office.
You can get your CRMA through adult education that holds classes or through nursing facilities. I took my CRMA certification through a local nursing home.
